Is it possible to restore the 4.1.2 camera to a 4.2.2 rom using titanium? I really miss the (even if it is faked somehow) hdr mode and the landscape photo ability in 4.2.2 and honestly I love the video quality in 4.1.2.

Yeah, that's the one...I donated and use the ICS+ version. The app has been updated and now includes burst mode. It's does a decent job at reducing the shutter lag. It's still there, but much improved.

Is the lag in the shutter or is it just a lag in the shutter sound?
I use many camera apps actually, but my two favorite are ICS Camera, and Fast Burst Camera, which is fantastic. Zero shutter lag when using that.

Is there any s3 ROM for s2?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Nope ...but there are themes and mods to get your phone to look like the S3
Na , i want the ROM for its uses not for beauty
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Some features like smart stay and pop up video have been implemented on the S2. Others, like the camera functionality, which are h/w dependent obviously won't be possible on the S2.

Which camera stuff?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Burst photography. There are apps available on the market that can do it but nothing near as good as the s3 camera does. Also the ability to take pictures while recording video.

Ah i see. However for the latter, the HTC One series includes this feature. On my DS the feature was ported from the One V Sense ROM and it works. But it lags a bit though.
I guess with the S3 Mini, we should have some decent ROM pets as they have the same size screen.

Anyone ported the 4.3 room into our i717 Samsung note yet or if you are planing to do and need support $$$ let me know I may can help PM me!!!!!!
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
I'm sure before too long something will show up .. I don't think it was a big update anyways .
®••TB°×
Google hasnt even officially announced 4.3 so good luck, no source = no idea what is changed = sketchy porting
just wait until Google announces and pushes sources, then all roms should update to 4.3 rather then using a flaky broken port that has a good possibility to brick your device
Thanks for the respond !!!

Nothing very exciting about 4.3 anyway, aside from maybe the new camera UI.. Its pretty much the same
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
My camera already has the ui of 4.3

Here's the camera supposedly if you wanna try it out. Looks like 4.2 to me though

The UI has a very minimal change to it. Instead of a circle its a curve *GASP*

You have to admit though, that circle was terrible lol. My thumb is always in the way

It was. The Photosphere option is very cool. I find every picture I take is sort of blurry.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
My panoramas are blurry and the photosphere pictures arent blending together well .. Maybe just me gonna keep trying
RooT-4/20-BoX
Same here. I think some of the cause is that I found the new camera has no focus mode.. Maybe it focuses Macro so that explains why its blurry. Idk.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Yeah. My photospheres and panoramas are out of focus too
Sent from my SGH-I717D using xda app-developers app
My photosphere is OK if taken per recommended 30 foot distance. Indoor pictures are usually too close to focus and join properly.

Jamie has a build that will boot...but no sound and Focal camera is wankie.

4.3 Photosphere
I find that all of my Photosphere pictures are out of focus as well.
Android 4.3 has a feature I'm interested in: AVRCP - audio track tags over bluetooth
I would like to see the song and artist info when I connect my phone to my car stereo
Mine did that with 4.2.2.........Am I the only one

4.3
Jamie has a 4.3 build out that's being worked on actively, so far call sound has been enabled but system sound is still a no go. I'm in the same boat personally I can't wait, I'm more interested in openGL 3 for the sake of a game cube emu on the play store I've been itching to try. Best of luck, happy flashing!
So I just flashed a 4.3 ROM and noticed the camera doesn't shoot wide screen and I have the two black bars along the sides.
Are there any apps that will be similar to the stock Samsung camera app??
Sent from my SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
I don't know if it is similar, but look at "focal".

Thanks but focal also doesn't capture the full wide screen.

Check out Snap Camera in the play store.

Try shooting at 4128x2322.
I have to second the recommendation for focal, even though it's fairly new.
It's one of the best free cameras you can get in the Play store right now, and supports multiple shooting sizes which may resolve your issue.
Default 4.3 cam...at least on SlimROM. Go into settings, then click the second icon in from the right. The one labeled "True View" it changes the display to either show in the fixed res or fill the screen.
