Is anyone having issue connecting an apple bluetooth keyboard? I am able to pair it but it doesn't connect. Currently running CM10.1 5/22 unofficial. I tried everything including Bluekeyboard JP and Teksoft's Blueinput. Strangely, I'm able to connect the keyboard to my phone which is running CM10.1.
I notice the same thing happens with anything that is HID. The Wiimote refuses to connect with "Last Error: no route to host" I suspect the bluetooth stack is either different or missing something that my phone has. Any ideas on how I can get it connected or if any of the 4.2.2 ROMs support HID?

Hi,
I've been running vegan 5.1b happily for sometime (and 3.0 etc before). Everything works, except for bluetooth headset connection: GTab keeps saying that it pairs with my device but it's not connected. I searched the forum but I couldn't find any solution; any suggestion?
Thanks!

I use one all the time with Beta5.1. Will your headset connect with other stuff?
mine will show as "paired" but that does not mean its connected at that moment.
Flick on your wifi settings go under blue tooth, click the head phones and MAKE it connect.
let us know if that works.

I have two BT phones and a BT headset (samsung WEP460). The headset does connect to the phones so at least the headset works.

My Gtab with vegan 5.1b does pair with all three BT devices but it won't connect. I long-pressed the headset icon on the Gtab to bring up the options; I clicked both "connect" and "audio devices" but it does not do anything.
I was on TnT Lite 2.2 before switching over to vegan (3.* and now 5.1b), and back then I was able to use BT to transfer files between my phones and GTab. Did something happended in between? (I did not try BT in vegan 3.*)
Thanks!

Anybody got the Bluetooth working with vegan 5.1?
I am having same issue. I think it might stem from not being able to enter the pair code into GTablet? The direction for my headset say i must type in 0001 on my phone after pairing. GTablet does not seem to have any way to do this.
Any Ideas?
For what it's worth, I haven't had any issues using my Rocketfish BT headphones with Vegan 5.1.
I use a Sonorix BT adaptor with regular sound isolation ear buds on vegan 5.1. It works great!
Pair then go into tablet bt settings under wireless.
Then.....
Pandora or Rhapsody while surfing or kindle reading.
I'm having the same issue with 5.1.1. Can't connect my motorola headset or my wiimote. They pair, but nothing will stay connected. Manually forcing a connect through the menu doesn't seem to do anything.
Likewise, I've got a Motorola H17 that connects fine with my Razr and N1 but woun't connect with my Vegan 5.1.1 with Clemsyn v8. Pairs correctly but no connection.

Replying to own post.
Just found Clemsyn's v9. Same thing. Still no connection.
It seems to be an issue with the tablet using VEGAn 5xx because I have that problem too yet no one had a solution so far, or at least no one posted a solution.
I have a Jawbone and my computer and both are paired but not connected. I did connect the Jawbone to my phone so the problem is not with the Jawbone but with the tablet.
Same issue here. I have tried quite a few different bluetooth devices with the same outcome. Can pair (or so it says) but unable to connect. No options found to force it.
Vegan 5.1 here also no bluetooth. Getting "Paired but not connected"
Anyone have a work around for this? Would love to ditch my USB cable to transfer files

You can transfer files wirelessly using an app called file expert. It creates a web site or ftp site with your wifi connection. It is not a fix but at least a work around.

Same here, I have a plantronics bluetooth headset that is "connected" but no sound, and make the tablet no sound also, have to reboot to get sound work again.

Motorola s10 HD works fine withvvegan 5.1.1
I had an OnCourse BT-339 hanging around in the house. I used it for my Dell Axim 51v. So I thought I would give it a try connecting to my gtab. I have read many posts about connection issue but can't find one specific to my issue. I cannot get the gtab bluetooth to pair with the gps. I tried my bluetooth headset and that connected fine. Is my gps unit outdated or am I doing something wrong.
I just paired my OnCourse BT-339 with my Nook Color running CM7 RC4 so it should work for you as well. I had to download an app from the marketplace called "Bluetooth GPS". Just download the app and launch. If no devices are paired it will take you to the pairing screen, this time it should pair (I too could not pair before downloading this app even though I could see the BT-339 in the list of BT devices). Once paired, it should show the BT-339 in a pull-down list. Just hit connect and it should connect.
Hope it works.
I want to use the app Bluetooth GPS to connect my Nexus One running CM7 to my Gtab running TnT Lite 4.4 for navigation fun. Both devices will pair with each other but when I click gtab in my N1's BT settings nothing happens. For all my other devices the N1 starts connecting w/ no problem.
If I click my N1 in my gtab's BT settings it only asks if I want to unpair. For my other device on my gtab it will also start connecting no problem.
So I am confused as to why the 2 remained paired but won't connect. Is it because Android sees both devices as "phones?"
In the app's reviews someone named "Art" said Bluetooth GPS was the only app that connected his gtab and phone.
Thank in advance for the help!
Dave
Hello,
I have an HTC Inspire 4g running Mustaavalkosta's unofficial Cyanogenmod 10.1 ROM. Everything works great, except my Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 5000, which is an HID Bluetooth keyboard (no SPP). I get a proper PIN exchange and it pairs with my phone successfully, but I can't actually type anything with the keyboard, and it does not appear in the Languages and Input section of the Settings app. The keyboard itself is good because I can use it with my laptop and an iPad.
I've tried apps like BlueInput, MyBlueCon, and Bluetooth keyboard easyconnect, but all fail to make a connection with my keyboard. In the case of BlueInput, I get a message that "this Android does not support Bluetooth HID."
Any other workarounds I could try? Or am I missing something really, really obvious?
(I have a feeling this is a ROM problem and I should be posting in its development thread, but I do not have the permissions.)
I just installed Cyanogenmod 7 stable, and the keyboard does work with this ROM. So does Cyanogenmod 10 just not have HID Bluetooth support? That would be a shame...

Bump! Running CM 10.1 (the TeamCanjica mod) on a Galaxy Ace 2. Phone can seemingly pair with the HID devices which worked in stock rom, but no luck in connecting to them. It just says connecting and never gets connected.
This rom, in contrast to the stock rom, is really fast, stable and nice. But the possible abscence of BT HID is a bummer. Is it often an intended omission from the CM development team and if so does anyone know why? Does anyone know of possible workarounds? On an older device with Android 2.x, I think I installed some third-party app which worked rather nice.
Pairing keyboard Oreo, same problem

I have used a Logitec dinovo mini for years on Android without using the dongle, but now under Android 8 Oreo, it seems to connect asking for pin and registers, but it does not do anything, and the connect light on the device goes on blinking. If I connect via USB C- OTG - dongle, it works fine, but that is useless as I need the USB C port for HDMI to TV to display the fantastic Linux like desktop (Huawei Mate 10 Pro).
In this thread from forever ago, sanders858 got his Wii remote to work, but I'm not getting favorable results when I try the same.
I thought the issue with connecting a Wiimote to the Rezound (or any HTC phone) was due to the BT stack in Sense ROMs. I'm currently running tachyon and there's a shot of my about screen below. it's rooted, unlocked, and s-on if any of that matters.
After enabling Bluez IME as an input method and selecting it as the IME, it automatically enables BT and it will find my official Wii controller when scanning for devices. When attempting to connect with the Wiimote (HID) device driver selected, it returns "Error: bt socket connect failed" and gives up. For giggles, I've tried other device drivers to no avail and usually forces closed.
If anyone has some insight on how to get this working or can verify a 4.2+ ROM that supports the Wiimote, I'd be muchly grateful. Thanks

i was only ever able to get any bluetooth gamepad to work with cm9 rom...has to be straight cm9
Ever tried sixaxis pair? I used it on my old phone to hook up a PS3 remote to my phone when I ran emulators, and it worked great. Only bad thing is it is a paid app, and requires a program on your computer for a one time Bluetooth mapping.
Edit: Guess you could also try Wiimote Controller from the Play Store, but you have to be under 4.2 to use it.
