running Xperia Neo v with "xperia z v3" rom Lupus v8(720p)..... there are issues of random rebooting, battery drain. If Airplane Mode is activated, the problem does not occur. Same issue on every other combination of JB roms & kernels.
The baseband version is most likely causing this problem, because it is independent of the rom and kernel. I have 72 version.
no rom posts have info on the best BB version for jelly bean neo/v. Although upgrading to 77 version might help....

Hi,
I have tried CM GingerBread ,CM ICS 9 and 9.1 and CM Jelly Bean(Alpha 142 build) versions of firmware in my Xperia RAy
ST18i model smartphone and what i understood is while installing all these, we will get a million options to get control
of our device i am pretty happy with those firmwares, but the problem which i noticed in all the firmwares which i tested,
CM eats a lotta battery and many a times it get stucked while doing multi tasking. So i decided to go with Stock GB ROM
which seems to be very stable, getting two days of battery and I am very happy travelling with that. But id like to try out
more custom ROM's and optimize my smartphone again.Which one do you suggest for me?
Device:Xperia Ray ST18i
Baseband: 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028D-56
kernel-2.6.32.9
Bootloader-Unlocked
ROM:STOCK GB ROM
Try MIUI, aosp, PA or some vanilla

I have less number of posts so I am actually not allowed to post in the development thread. So here I go with my experience with Neo L.
1. LuPus Kernel : its JB based so cannot do much with it since we have only one JB rom for our Neo L. Still I tried with AOKP and PA but they always get stuck up in landscape mode.
2. Tigris Kernel : Tried both AOKP and PA. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi both not working in AOKP but PA works fine.
3. CM9 Phoenix kernel : Wi-Fi working but no bluetooth with AOKP. In PA both are working.
With LuPus Kernel, the internal memory increases to about 600+ MB. Other kernels just give 380 MB. Also LuPus Kernel helps to have more RAM which helps in gaming and multi-tasking.
I want to know some alternatives for LuPus Kernels. Also I want to know any other kernels which work very well with AOKP and are compatible with Neo L. Suggest me any flashables which help in solving Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems. As of my experience, I feel that these problems occur because of kernel. So suggest some good kernels for my Neo L.
I'm using Xperia Ray
Rom: Super Jelly Bean 5.0
Kernel: Fusion 5.5
Baseband Verion : 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028G-77
after flashing this rom 3G(Mobile Network) is no longer working.
How can i fix it? :crying:
I have tried Super Jelly Bean 6.0 (nAA 2.6 smultron kernel), Xperia Ultimate HD (MESA 4.6 smultron kernel) and Super Jelly Bean 8.0 (nAA 2.6 smultron kernel). Everything wiped before install.
WiFi on, data off, gmail and facebook sync on. I get about 12 hours before the battery needs recharging. Is this normal - I use to get at least 24 hours out of the stock GB rom.
Hi guys, i've been searching for a ROM for my gf's Xperia U, i need a reliable and fast ROM, ICS and upwards, any suggestions and/or experiences please? It would have to be as bug free as possible because i won't be there always to fix it.
