Hi there!
I just switched from litening rom 2.7 with siyah 3.1.2 kernel to the newest version of ressurection remix rom 1.8.1. I did factory reset and all the cache wipes. All is working well and I must say that this is the best rom i've had so far...
Apart from the fact that my internal SD is not recognized (I don't have an external SD card). The internal SD is available in recovery mode, so i tried flashing the siyah kernel that was still on there. This didn't help. I have been searching in the FAQ but i seem to be the only one with this problem?
Does somebody have a solution?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply but that thread is not applicable to my situation.
I am having trouble accessing the internal memory of my s2, NOT the external SD (which I don't have). This total of 16 GB is divided in a partition for the operating system and apps on one side, and a partition for data (around 11 GB) on the other side. I can't access this last partition for some kind of reason..
I tried flashing other kernel and flashing the whole ROM again (with al wipes en factory reset)
Any suggestions?

If u go to Mnt/sdcard what do u see?
Using XDA Premium over Resurrection Remix ICS, the Best Rom ever made
just change the connection mode.
Settings - Storage Size - Clic on Menu Button - PC Connection - And select the one that you want
Thank you for your responses.
If i go to Mnt/sdcard it says "this folder is empty"
My internal SD can't be empty cause I just flashed the Ressurection ROM from it.
Changing the settings doesn't solve anything.

Hi all
After partitioning my Hannspad for TeamDRH Jelly Bean 4.2 and installing the rom. I had some slow downs so I wanted to go back to stock rom. After repartitioning my hannspad for the Stock rom. Its now saying I only have 400MB of space I have nothing installed on my Tablet. I have just reinstalled the Stock rom. I dont have a external SD card installed this is my internal space. (This should be 14Gb to 15GB of space right?) What have I done wrong? By the way I used this to repartition my hannspad: Recovery-SN10T1-1.2.1-4789.zip. Can anyone help please? As I want to give my Hannspad to my Dad as I now have a Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 2
Thank You
Update: after reinstalling the TeamDRH Jelly Bean 4.2 Rom my storage is right it says 16GB to 15GB of space. But Going back to stock Rom (Latest) Its 400MB of space. When I plug in my Hannspad to my PC it's 400MB of space. I don't understand why it is not recognising that it should be 16GB to 15GB of space on the stock rom. Please can someone help me.
Update: It is also saying in the CWM Recovery that its 400MB and not the full 16GB. I would just like to go back to Stock rom. Becuase I want to give this tablet to my Dad
Please can Someone help?
This is a question that may have been answered elsewhere but I can't find it specifically discussed here for the Verizon Galaxy S4.
I'm currently running the most recent Hyperdrive ROM. About a week ago I downloaded the AOKP milestone 2 release for the S4 and installed it on my device. Unfortunately there were some bugs that kept showing up and I eventually wiped the install and reverted back to Hyperdrive. I'm not satisfied with my current storage capacities on the device itself. Hyperdrive, though a great ROM, is still Touchwiz based and therefore there is very little available storage once installed on the phone.
I'm considering trying AOKP again. May wiping a few more times and ensuring that the install is bug free before I revert this time. My question is this. I recall there still being very little storage on the device after I installed AOKP which is unusual since it's only a 180MB file versus the 1.5GB file size of Hyperdrive. Would formating the internal storage be an option during install? Would it free up whatever recovery partitions or bloat that is eating up that 16GB? According to what I've read there should be about 14 to 14.5GB of available storage on a bone dry Verizon Galaxy S4 with not OS installed. Wouldn't AOKP with it's small file size equate to 13GB? I'm guessing I'm missing something. Thank you to whoever advises.

in recovery do a factory reset (if using team win recovery aka twrp) go to wipe then slide the slider all the way to the right....then go back once more to wipe and hit advanced wipe...select cache and dalvik and system....then flash aokp and the GApps package then fix permissions.....once you boot up go to settings>>storage and see what is eating up the space if any at all.... not sure if youre new to flashing or not but backups take up A LOT A LOT A LOT of space anywhere from 1-2GB or more per backup....go to settings>>storage and everything you need to know is there about what is taking up space....if you dont find your answer there come back here and let me know what you see or just PM me and ill gladly help you out...are you restoring data or using titanium backup?

Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and did the factory reset and usual wipes. I also formatted the system, data, and device storage using CWM. Sure enough after installing AOKP I'm down to 8gb of available space instead of 2. It was probably backups taking up the space as you mentioned. Thank you again for the advice.

I'm on MDK bootleader with GPE 4.4.4 Danvdh. Trying to free up mystery missing GBs.
On OUDhs CWM Touch Recovery v 1.0.3.5.
Whats the difference between "Wipe" and "Format". Dont want to brick the phone.
Galaxy note 2 Verizon: I was running 4.1.2 on my device and have since upgraded to 4.4.4. I did a factory wipe/dalvik before installing new ROM. My internal storage is now out of available space. All of my files previous to 4.4.4 do not show up in any file manager. It seems as though they have been partitioned and hidden. I tried searching for a solution but have come up empty handed. How do I access these files/fragments and delete them ?

Check out this thread: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53624921) to see if it will help you fix your issue. Sounds like you might need to flash the stock recovery and then wipe cache/perform factory reset. You can flash a custom recovery back to your phone again after you do the wipes in the stock recovery.
Good day... I just have my galaxy s2 flash with a custom rom and before that I have a stock rom installed and it has a 11 gig internal/mass internal storage but now after flashing it only shows 2 gig of internal storage... Also when I plug it in on my computer the 11 gig storage doesn't show up unlike before when I have the stock rom... Can anyone help me fix my problem... By the way the custom rom I installed is Cynanogen 12.1
****Already solved my problem....
