Power off the device completely, then power on the device and boot into recovery mode. Once in recovery mode select the factory reset, and wipe cache options. Then after you have done that reboot the device and the tablet should now boot up normally without getting stuck in a bootloop. Let me know if you still have questions .

What key combination did you try to get into recovery mode, did you power on the device and hold down the key combination until the device vibrated indicating it was booting into recovery?

Hello All,
I have been trying to boot my SG2 in Download mode but unfortunately it never boots.
I have tried every combination possible (up volume/down volume + home + On/Off )
but the phone wont be boot.
Appreciate your help.
But it boots up normally?
That's strange. Turn phone off, once off, hold Vol down + home + power and hold until a screen comes up warning you about installing custom firmwares.
If that doesn't work you may need a usb jig.

ok I made a back up of the stock rom and did a complete wipe and flashed a rom and it wouldn`t even boot so I tired a few different button combinations to get back to recovery to do a restore, and i can get fastboot mode but tried to use the volume up and down to select recovery and I can`t , what sequence of buttons do you use to get you in to recovery ?:silly:

thanks, yeah I just figured it out, its weird that when the phone is completely shut off I do the volume up then press power button on, it takes me to fastboot, but if I keep holding volume up and release the power and push power button for the second time then it enters recovery every time, kind odd to me but it works
ok I was playing around again entering recovery manually and now I can`t everytime I hold volume up and power button and goes to fastboot, then I did the second press of the power goes right to fastboot again, is there something jack up with my phone?
hmm that kinda odd... what ROM are you trying to flash?
From bootloader screen use vol up twice then power, or vol dwn twice then power.

well, i was able to get it into recovery mode by holding volume down and power then removing my finger from the power key then holding it down again when the lg screen came up. but i'm an idiot. i decided to factory wipe it to start over, by mistake checked off internal data. so now there is nothing on my sd card. i dont have my back up rom or anything. is there a way to push cynaogenmod from my computer to the phone or did i just brick my phone?
Should be able to mount the SD in recovery then add a factory ROM from there.

If you are in twrp you can sideload the ROM too which ever way is easier

Try the option "recover from error" inside the LG B2C official tool, sorry if I made a mistake naming the tool.

Try this:
Take the battery, sdcard and sim out.
Hold the Volumedown button only.
And than connect the phone to PC.
