Root and install JMZ Power Saver goawayerthingie I don't remember the name from Google Play. It's a free app.
Finally, long press the notification and go to "App Info" and hit force close. This will send it away until you restart the phone.
Thanks for the info. Im looking to root soon, just want to run the phone for a week or so I can verify there are no problems

Wipe data and cache of the play store in settings. If still it dosen't work, then you gotta download another one (from the internet) and push it to /system/app... with a root explorer.
I do it I tried 2 times with different versions but still not working

I think the only option now left is to flash a fresh stock rom. I think some virus or other thing has gotten to your system.

THAT'S NOT A BIG PROBLEM YOU NEED TITANIUM BACKUP PRO FOR IT.
INSTALLL TITANIUM BACKUP PRO
THEN DELETE THE PLAY STORE APK FILE FROM SYSTEM/APPS USING FILE MANAGER(ROOT).
THEN REBOOT PHONE NOW DOWNLOD LATEST PLAY STORE VERSION.(SEARCH ON GOOGLE)
INSTALLL IT.
GO TO TITANIUM BACKUP PRO
THEN LONG PRESS ON PLAY STORE THEN SELECT CONVERT TO SYSTEM APP.
THAT'S ALL AFTER CONVERTED REBOOT THE PHONE.
TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE ROOTED YOUR PHONE.
I HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH MIUI ROM. I HAVE TRIED IT. IT WORKS PERFECTLY.

I need general advice, I have a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 , thats stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy 10.1 " boot screen. Someone gave it to me because I guess they didn't want to take the time to try and fix. I don't know what software it's on, but I know it's not rooted.....is there an easy fix to get it functioning properly or should I toss it in trash
Reflash it to stock through Odin, and should be good to go.
Everything you need is over in development.

Boot to recovery by holding down power button together with volume down until recovery and download mode appear.
Follow the instructions and it should reset to factory.

They work fine. I've been using the 5x5_5x5 version, with no problems. Just extract the app from the zip, and use Root Explorer to overwrite SecLauncher4.apk, in /system/app. (Make a backup of your original SecLauncher4.apk, first)

Yes ma'am. Straight as it comes. It even has that annoying (to me) swipe up from the bottom of the screen "my magazine". As far as I know, if you install it with root explorer, it shouldn't affect knox. I don't really care about knox, I tripped mine as soon as I got the phone.

I don't know why you can't delete it. Maybe you can rename it something like SecLauncher4.odex.bak, and leave it there?
