[Q] [q] help, need my phone - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Guys. I´m new here. I have a Xperia X10 and it´s not working correctly.
Yesterday night, I turned the phone off, it was with 1% of battery. Today morning the lcd didn´t turn on.
It have been recharging for hours.
It is working normaly as I can see. When I turn on it vibrates but the lcd stays black, but not a "turned off black".
The lower buttons turn it´s lights on when I touch. The touch screen works too, it vibrates when I touch it.
I have already flashed it and it still doesn´t work

Did you flash after the 1percent? Or before? Sounds like bat wasnt charged enuf to run a flash. Try n get a 100per cent full bat n try the flashbit again... i usually use a universal charger to make sure bat is full. U shd also try to ascertain whether your bat is maybe expiring, chk its age etc? Knw sum1 with similar phone? Ask to charge ur bat in their phone, the x1 xperia has the same battery by the way. I rd sumwhere a guy got a stronger mA battery cause he was havn starting failures, and crashes. Im crashing a lot too, sumtyms failing to boot aswell. So il nd to flash bak to 2.1 maybe? Bt 1st check your bat b4 u flash.

Help please, Touch screen doesnt respond

Hey guys help me please,
my phone was really really hot 2 days ago and i continued to use it, then it restarted and the battery said 4%(i had 60% before it restarted).
Now when i charge it, i cant use the Touch screen since its not responding , or responds really poorly - like i need to press 7 times the same point to make it respond. but when i disconnect it from the charger its working fine.
And the phone is overheating when i charge aswell, wtf
Is your phone stock or rooted? What ROM? Try flashing stock rom, kernel, etc... Or it maybe a faulty battery or other hardware.

Dropped my Ray now wont boot past the Kernel screen?

Seems like a power issue almost.
The kernel screen will show, and then it shuts off. Sometimes it makes it to the bootloader screen if i have the USB cable in, then shuts off.
Guess its like it has been the whole time i had it buggy
Anyone wanna buy a half dead ray?
Have you tried flashing ftf files, another kernel, or something?
Nahh. Tired of messing with it. $100
It probably could be a hardware issue. Any ftf or kernel flashes can't help hardware problems.

Possible fix...
I had the same problem on my Ray, but i don't know what happened to it, all of sudden starts to bootloop... Sony logo, stands for a while and then reboot... tried flashing everything, but no luck... everything i did ened with bootloop... Now i'm a happy ray user again. This is what i did... Turn on the phone and left it boot-looping until it drained the battery, until completely dead (red blinking when try to turn on), then i connected it to a charger and suddenly it started working again!! but when i turned it off, it couldn't boot again... So i did the same thing, left the battery drain, but this time with SIM and microSD inside, and when i connected the charger, but this time it didn't boot... That'
s it, the phone stopped booting again so i left it on the charger bootlooping all night, and in the morning i disconnected it and left the battery drain, AGAIN... the time when i got home from work, the battery was drained, i connected the charger and it started again! I used the phone for a few days without powering off/reboot, and now it's all fine, it boots normally, i use PACMAN rom and it's wonderfull... Hope this helps...
What you did was exercised the battery !!!
This happens due to battery problem !!!
But in his case , he may need to try out a new or working battery !!!

[Q] Xperia X10 troubleshoot near brick situation

My phone is acting weirdly since past few days. I am currently on Feralab GB rom.
Firstly, the phone would automatically restart and battery level would fall by nearly 20% every time.
This leads the battery level to drop down to zero. After that it wont start and wont go into flash mode.
After some time(1-2 days), i tried booting it and it got to the main OS but as battery was 0%, phone automatically turned off.
Afterwards, it behaved normally for few hours. But it again stopped working just now.
What could be the problem ? Any ideas ?
P.S. When the phone turns off by itself, nothing works on it. Not even SEUS.
you could charge the battery with an external charger, or desktop charger something like that, i mean unattached in phone ... make it full
then put it back to phone then install other rom like DonutHD ... the battery performance on it is good, then if you face the same problem it should be a battery problem ... you should change it and buy a new one then

I know it is not a battery problem. Because it wont work with other batteries too when it automatically shuts down.
so ... you couldnt install any other rom because of that problem, tried and failed ??
maybe then its a hardware problem in the phone

Are u using stock rom? How did that happen in the first place? Maybe some screws need tightening or something.
Gangster89 that's pretty strange.
Did you ever let the phone fall hard on the ground and are the battery contacts still good? What ROM and kernel do you have installed.

about 2 months ago i put my phone on charging and i was out for some personel work... after 5 to 6 hours i came back and removed my phone from charging and i logged into facebook app, after 5 to 10 minutes my phone turned off and then it continues till yet
now whenever i connect it to the charger or pc usb i get an empty grey battery icon with 3 seconds intervals... i have tried a fully charged battery of another s2 of my friend but still failed to boot up... my own battery works fine on my friend's s2 that means its not the battery fault

Is the battery the original one that came with the phone?
Do you checked the voltage of the battery?
I recommend you to try with another battery when the phone will die again and see if it can start wiht another battery!
Good luck!
yes bro the battery is original... and i have tried another battery but the results are still same... phone doesn't boot up, its not about battery because my battery works fine in my friend's s2

[Q] [Problem] Xperia P - shutdown battery 50-60% only if trying to make a call

Hey guys, need help. I charge battery on my xperia P to 100% and i can use it all the way to almost 0%, its been calibrated, unless i try to press call button (make a call) when the battery is at 50-60% or lower, then it automaticly shutsdown. Then when i try to turn it on it spins load animation then shutdown again. I can do this for hours, but cant get to desktop, also i enter cwm and it stay there for hours.
Only way to get to desktop is to plug the charger and charging it again, although it has more than 50% battery.
So tu sum it up.
Works great if i dont try to make the call to someone
Can play games stream and everything fine to the end of battery
Shutdown imediatlly with no animation or anything
Can access cwm but not the desktop until charged
Tryed honami and dark roms, its the same. I am on the locked bootloader with "No".
I was thinking to buy a new battery on ebay ?!?!
Help please
This problem happens to me when I was using my xperia x10, it not a phone related problem. When I changed the battery it works fine.
I think the battery is ****ed up.
