[Q] Gmail & LinkedIN Issue - HTC Droid DNA

I am running the latest stock image on my DNA and have a weird issue I can't seem to remedy.
When I get LinkedIN email on my gmail account (gmail native client on the phone), I click the link and it takes me to a screen that asks me if I want to install LinkedIN or go to the web.
I already have LinkedIN installed.
How do I fix it so that it goes to the app?

StreakDroid 2.0.0 integrating Facebook Account does not work

Hi i got streakDroid 2.0.0 and when i go to contacts and then Account Settings, I
add my Google Account...works fine,
then I add my Twitter Account .... works fine.
Then i want to add my facebook Account, giving it my login data it works fine, the facebook apps open and i can use it like the way befor. But then the Facebook account is not in the List of the account. And in continue there are no Facebook contacts in my Contacts List. And this is sucks
When I go to Account Settings again and click "add facebook" it loads 1 second and bring me back to Account Screenm but again without the FB Account.
Can someone help me here?
I think this is more to do with a disagreement between Google and Facebook about contact sharing than a problem with the ROM. I think Google took integration out of the ROM for 2.3.3

Facebook for HTC Sync and Flickr accounts/sync

I have my Facebook and Flickr accounts setup in my phone. The former so that I can use the facebook app and the latter so that I can upload to Flickr from the share menu. I've disabled syncing on all of these though as I care not if my address book entries show my friend's facebook status. Every time I reboot my phone the Facebook for HTC Sync and Flickr accounts have all sync options re-enabled. The regular Facebook is unaffected.
So, is anyone else seeing this behavior? Anyone know of a solution?
Also, what does Facebook for HTC Sense give me that the regular Facebook account doesn't?

Ever since I rooted....my Facebook just doesn't wanna sync anymore. It syncs when it wants to and Facebook Sense doesn't exist on the phone at all. When I reboot normally; the phone restarts Facebook all over again. I have to log in and blah blah and then it'll sync when it wants to and here I go again....attaching over 200 contacts to their respected Facebook accounts....it's starting to get annoying -______-. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Your issue seems to be different than mine.

I removed my flickr account from my phone, rebooted, re-signed in, disabled sync, rebooted. Sync was re-enabled. I've not signed in to facebook for HTC Sense.

Android Facebook 1.9.3 App - Not Sync'ing Contacts

Just setup ICS on my Samsung Galaxy S2 and I've downloaded the Facebook app from the Play store. However, once installed, it never asked me as to which contacts I wanted to Sync. Within the app, I can't find the option anywhere either.
I un-installed the app and re-installed it and still no sign of any prompting to sync all contacts.
So as it stands, I've got all contacts sync'd from MS Exchange, Gmail, LinkedIn but no way will the Facebook contacts sync. It all worked perfectly on Gingerbread.

I believe it's broken on the FB side of things - I'm using a custom rom and up until the second last version, it used a 'hack' to sync up FB contacts but it's since removed that and putting it in FB's hands.
You could try using FriendCaster instead, it's an FB replacement app that seems to have working contacts sync.

[Q] Linkedin incomplete sync

Hi,
I have a galaxy note with gingerbread, rocket rom (I don't understand much about roms, if necessary I can upload a screenshot of the "about" section).
I use the built in contacts app, and sync it with my gmail contacts, facebook contacts, and linkedin contacts.
I noticed that on the linkedin account, only the first 70 contacts out of 98 sync with the phone. Meaning that on the computer, I have 98 contacts on the linkedin web site, but on the phone I only see the first 70 (alphabetically), and the rest are simply missing. I have some of these contacts also on gmail and facebook, so I have the contacts on the phone, but it's like they don't have a linkedin account as well.
Tried removing the linkedin account, restarting the phone, and adding the account back but nothing changed.
Why does this happen?
Thanks!

Stock email app problem displaying Hotmail emails

Hello, I am using the stock email app on the MT2L03 configured for Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo and Exchange mail boxes. I noticed that any graphics / pictures in Hotmail emails body copies are only showing up as web URL.
However, emails from all the other mail services display correctly
So if I forward an email from Hotmail to Gmail and read it on the stock client, it displays perfectly.
I tried to get help from the helpline but they asked me to speak to Microsoft for a resolution!
I have tried both m.hotmail.com and s.outlook.com as the mail server config with no luck.
The mate 2 email client is a mess
You might want to forget about the stock email client and go with an all gmail solution, seems to work well for me :
Download the gmail and exchange apks from Android police (since I can't post links google: Gmail 5.0 With Exchange Support And Material Design Has Landed)
Either disable your stock email client or remove
Open gmail
Setup a new account, choose exchange as the type.
Setup the account like you would on the stock client.
The exchange sync seems to work for me.
If you want something easier and nice, get the mailwise app (again, can't post a link) from play (just know you can'tadd or update contacts). .
