I have a serious (for me) problem with the touchscreen.
Everything 'started yesterday when I reinstalled via cwm the stock 4.1.2 and I had problems with the keyboard that is that after a few letters typed froze (I could not write for one or two seconds) and thought it was a problem of this rom but I happens everywhere in any part of the touch also with various other rom such as cm10-9.1-10.1-stock .89 and GINGERBREAD
please help me !

Hay guys.......this time i am not in a happy mood telling this to you.i am using xperia mini pro sk17i.this device was perfect for me because every thing on it worked fine.otg,battery life,gaming....etc worked really fine.today morning i left off from my house and when i am in the road my device worked fine.but now the touch sensitive is gone.only thing i have done is keeping it on my pocket.thats all.because there is no reason for this.but now touch dont works.even back and menu button also not working.i have tried going to cwm recovery and checked back button is working or not,it not worked on cwm also.every physical buttons still works fine and physical keypad also works,no heat issue still,phone booting normally.i have updated my device to ics and it also worked fine as gb.plz help me guys i am so confused on this.plz help me to fix this.....

It seems that you messed with the phone's software. Did you try to install some custom rom before this problem appeared?
The most common reason for this is that you may have installed a rom for the mini or the LWW which isn't optimized for your phone!
If you find a way to fix it please keep us informed because I have the same problem with my mini as well!

there is strange thing in my problem.it is i have not installed any wrong rom or wrong kernel to my device.i have perfect knowledge on it.i have just flashed new official firmware and it worked just fine on my device all the days on last month.i have been able to work on my device afternoon also.but now it is not working.only thing i have done is keeping device on my pocket.i dont know what happened.
Try repairing by pc companion or try flashing whole firmware by flashtool

before i start with my issue id like to say that i have searched and searched and searched for the answer to my little problem and ive come up with nothing that i either understand or been able to solve my problem so PLEASE dont shout, moan or carper about my following question.
first is i own a samsung galaxy s2 i9100 on the three network in the UK, had the phone about a year and successfully flashed ics rooted 4.0.4 on my device.
when I did this everything worked fine except my camera and the ability to watch videos.. skype was fine although i can only see the calling party and not myself.. my own video being always black regardless.
I still have all the files needed should you need to know these. just let me know.
I'm truly sorry about this.. but after all this time im at my whits end with how to solve this..
can you help me?

stock kernal on ics 4.0.4 had a camera issue on the sgs 2 when firstflashed.
Just change the kernal to a siyah 4.1.5 or any similiar kernal without the mali drivers and your phone should work fine.
there was also a camera fix in one of the forums.

hi mate how about change your kernel just like said below,i prefer siyah and dorimanx with no mali driver.

Yesterday i tried putting on a new rom on my. Phone.. But when i tried to root it the Phone crashed.
Now i've got the stock rom on it again but some how the touch-screen and the menu buttons dont work anymore....
Hoe am i able to fix this..
Sorry for the bad english... (im kinda scarred that it wont fix...)

same problem as you. The return key now became menu, and menu doesn't work....
If you can search and find a thread from five months ago then you should be able to find similar problems that got some answers.
I've read that flashing a Note II ROM can cause button and screen problems - are you sure you flashed an i9300 ROM to your i9300 phone?
Hi everybody! I've got an S3 NoBrand rooted, mounting PAC rom with kernel stock (tryed also googy's kernel) and stock modem.
After installing the first coocked rom 1 month ago (the CM10.2) I found a "secondary" problem to which I have never given much importance but now I would like to solve
From the first boot with the new rom the phone marks me as there is no signal. In fact, although there is network and you connect to the Internet without any problems, the strenght signal icon remains "empty" (see picture to understand better).

I have found out that did not depend on Cyano as it lasted one day before I've changed it with the PAC but this issue has remained unresolved ..
I have already tried full wipes data,cache, devilk and cleaning then changing the kernel!
Sorry if I used a bad English but I've already asked on the Italian forum but unfortunately without success!

Found same problem with Illusion Rom!!! CMON!!
Wipe and flash stock rom and test .
If ok answer is the roms you are using .

Could u help me finding where to download the stock rom?
I've found out that it depends on the model number or something like that but I can't get how to discover it!

I've installed the stock rom and the Signal icon is working again!

Hello Guys, I have asked several times in many threads but dint get any reply. So i finally decided to create a new thread regarding the screen flickering problem.
i got some methods to solve it but none of them worked.
Due to this problem i''m not able to use any of the ROMS available in this sub-forum.But as there are many experts here i guess this thread will help each and every mmx hd guy who has a flickering problem. :good: :highfive:
Also if there is no such solution to it,are there any ROMS which work perfectly with this problem
Usually when we upgrade to 4.2+ the screen starts flickering along with the device running slowly.

faced flickering problem on the V5 ie flasheruser 14...
so I switched back to V4 ie flasheruser 13 and the problem was gone...
I found the problem in one of the ROMs .. Wen I changed the ROM , it got fixed..
So , isn't it a problem associated with ROM ?
