HI Kalemucu,
Unfortunately with the leaked version it's not possible.
Try mods or custom ROMS to get rid of it.

John

normal method doesn't work. tried quickpic too and no joy no optino to set as anything other than contact photo or wallpaper. no lockscreen option
An extra option appears right after you make a new thread on leaked ICS ROMs.

[Q] Noob here but potential security breach with Jelly Bean??

Hey all,
So I know I don't know all the intricacies of Android but I feel like I have to post about this...
Anyone getting a pre lock screen " Tap to search" screen much like the circular selection screen in JB but with clouds? Its very peculiar since it just popped up today and I can't find ANYTHING about it online. Anyone having the same issue??

I figured out that AccuWeather, which I have installed, has a lock screen you can use and somehow I enabled it. Not sure how, but the lock screen is gone now.
I am running AOKP with Nova Launcher.
Thanks for the replies.

[Q] Problems with Quick Circle

ANyone having issues with Quick circle after flashing custom kernel RIn 1.7.2? I cant seem to get the clock to show though i do get heads up notifications. ANy suggestions before restoring?
I'm running Rin kernel and I've got no problems with my quick circle clock. Do you have the weather animations running while letting the case itself unlock the phone? That gave me some problems until I disabled the case unlock.

Darkened home screen background on Marshmallow update?

When I updated my phone to Marshmallow, the home screen background got darkened, as if some kind of black overlay got placed over it. This has something to do with the phone, as it stays darkened when I change the wallpaper and in stock, Apex and Nova Launchers. How do I disable this and keep the wallpapers bright?

Seems your phone is broken, No one here has ever mentioned anything like what you describe
Flash back to Lollipop and see if it's fixed

I have not unlocked the booter, rooted my phone, or anything like that, and I don't have a Lollipop backup either. Is it still possible for me to roll back, or will I have to root my phone to fix this??

Yes, I do. Does that have anything to do with it?

That is indeed true... It gets dark on the homescreen... But that is an effect because of all the icons etc i think...

Nova launched navigation background color

Anyone found a way to make it black or transparent or anything but white after the latest firmware update? I really hate the change and can't seem to find a solution. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

I have not gotten the latest update just yet, but I've heard about it, have you tried something like Navbar Apps?: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.damianpiwowarski.navbarapps
Yep it worked wonders before the update, but not on the home screen anymore. It still works in apps, but you need to set it to just before black. If it's black, it fails for some reason.

So am I understanding this correctly, it is no longer transparent on the homescreen?
Sadly no. It's white'ish . ?
Hmm, is the only apps you have installed being able to modify the navbar, navbar apps?
I read about the update, and to my understanding, the only big thing the changed was not letting users pick black, and immesive mode.
But thats shouldn't change the transparency of the navbar.. Actually you can't even change the transparency in the settings..

This has a fix if you're not opposed to a theme.

I have the german version, there is a point in settings:
- dock, dockhintergrund, Transparenz
which works fine.
should be - dock, background, transparency - in your version?
