[SimLock][NeedHelp] Need a stock Kernel[Morocco] (any version) .. Please ! - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone ! I recently flashed a stock Jelly Bean kernel to my i9100G, but turned out it wasn't made for my country (I'm moroccan).. so it asks me to enter a code to unlock the sim. And since there is no i9100g - stock JB (or ICS) Kernel for Morocco, I tried to SIM unlock my phone following instructions i found on XDA-Developpers (by editing nv_data.bin), but that didn't work for me either. And when I finally gave up trying to unlock my phone with the JB Kernel, I decided to downgrade it to the old 2.3.6 Kernel, since it's the only official one i found for Morocco, but then again, I couldn't download it form XDA because the links were dead.
Long story short: here I am stuck with a sim locked I9100G running a JB Kernel.
My request : Could someone please upload a JB/ICS/2.3.6 Stock Kernel [Morocco] (or sim unlocked) for me. I would be very grateful ...

There has been plenty of topic SPECIFICALLY about this and are extremely easy to find via search so this just proves you didn't even try.

[Q] Help required for Noob!!!!

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and new to android world.
I have purchased unlocked Optus Samsung Galaxy S2 (I9100) from Australia and currenlty i am using it in India with Airtel. My mobile is installed with ICS 4.0.4.
I want Offical Jelly Bean firmware in my mobile.
Can i install Official Jelly Bean Rom released in SPAIN? Will it lock the the mobile after i install this ROM?
Or If i need to wait for Jellybean to realese in my region, Did i able to update Australian Version or Indian Version of Jellybean ROM or only the OPTUS version of ROM through Samsung Kies?
Please help me on this request.
Thanks,
Arun Panneerselvam
yes, you can install the jellybean from spain and no it will not lock your phone.
The choice is up to you. You try one of the custom roms on this site or wait for an official version through kies.
Updating kies may not happen this year because the roll out for jelly bean wil be uneven, no one knows what countries will get and when or if they will get jellybean at all.
Before installing you have to root your device,
then check and search on internet for your original rom (it could be useful if you need to send it to assistance in warranty)
If the phone is branded usually official updates came from carriers ,and often they need more time to release update after the unbranded is released since they want to put on it their customizations

What the devil are you talking about? You don't need to root in order to install the stock Samsung Jelly Bean firmware.

I have just bought a second hand SGS3. It was obviously rooted and running custom rom. I am just a begginer and dont have good knowledge of these issues.I have downloaded a stock 4.1.2 turkey rom from sammobile, I have flashed with odin directly. It worked well but then it said "Emergency calls only" . Then i founded patch to fix (I had to root again) it worked but now it can't join any wireless network. Now my phone has CWM again.
Any help Please,

[Q] Help finding Stock ROM [4.1.1]

Hi guys (girls), I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) and its locked to 3 Three UK (H3G). I've been looking for a why to sim unlock it and there only seems to be two options one pay for a code or downgrade stock firmware to 4.1.1 and unlock it using Service Mode.
I've downgraded it once to 4.1.2 and it worked fine but still can not get service mode to work correctly I've been looking for the stock firmware for 4.1.1 but can not find a working download link anywhere on the internet gone through every page on google looking. I was hoping someone on here could point me in the right direction or maybe have on the computer they can post to the internet somewhere.
The file I need is called: I9300XXDLJ1_I9300H3GDLJ1_H3G.zip
Here is the link to SamMobile but it does not work. (I'm not allowed to post links so you will have to added SamMobile yourself )
firmwares/download/7286/I9300XXDLJ1_I9300H3GDLJ1_H3G/
Any reply or help would be great. I just hope I'm posting this in the correction section.
Update #1
I was just about to posted about broken FW download on SamMobile when the link started download so I'm downloading now and I will update if it works and I can SIM Unlock my phone.
Update #2
I installed Stock Firmware 4.1.1 and tried SIM Unlock using Service Mode and it still failed, I've even tried install patch Kernal and Modem files and it failed as well. I've install latest Stock Firmware 4.3 and I'm just going to pay the £10 to have it unlock to all networks less hassle.

HELP Need stock Firmware 4.1.1, for S III I9300, cant download it anywhere!!!

Hi guys,
I need firmware 4.1.1 for the samsung S III I9300, I literally spent all day yesterday looking and found several links but they were all hotfile links that are obv. dead.
The phone is currently locked to o2 UK not sure if I need the firmware to be of the same carrier..?
I want to flash the firmware via ODIN so then I can unlock the bootloader myself and then use the 'secret code' to network unlock in order to flash the latest Lineage..
Please help..pulling my hair out!!!!!
Thanks in advance
The bootloader was never locked for this phone.
If the phone is running a stock 4.3 bootloader, you cannot downgrade the bootloader.

Someone badly misinformed you. If your phone is locked to o2 you must flash o2 firmware. Once the simlock is off you can flash any firmware.
If you have upgraded to 4.3 you cannot unlock the sim lock. There is no secret code. It was done by hex editing a file but is obsolete on 4.3.
If you are rooting to flash lineage you root via chainfire and odin, flash a custom recovery via odin and then flash lineage from the custom recovery you flashed.
If you want simlock off and you're on 4.3 you have to pay for it. Downgrading isn't possible unless you have a copy of your efs from 4.1.1.
