HI,
Quick and simple question:
Is there a easy and simple way to disable USB Charging on Samsung-Based ROMs of the Galaxy S3 (International)?
Thanks.

Yep, for usb-host support, it needs to provide power to whatever you connect to it, and it doesn't do that at all, it's a hardware limitation.

Was thinking about dual booting on the s3 butw what about quadbooting is it possible?.
Just one thought... WHY ???
Quadbooting seems nice, but what about ESABOOTING?

Haha
No, you can't. charging your battery is not bad for it, unless you want it to last you 10 years

i dont see whats wrong with having it plugged into the wall as if it were possible to run it without a battery it would have to be plugged into the wall anyways so it would a rather pointless solution to a none existent problem XD

It's just an MHL cable, and yes, the S5 works with MHL. I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Try posting in the international S5 section. I don't think many people use things like this here...maybe there's someone in the other S5 section.
I've looked and can't seem to find anything.. I used the mhl cable and I can see it on appradio but no touch support yet..
It does once I rooted and flashed this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2955996
I am using the stock charger.
