Hi I just bought an mhl adapter and I was wondering if anyone had tried any custom roms with mhl support?

Most roms based on stock will work. I have not found any aosp or sense 4.1 that work.

I have a Stock HTC EVO 4G LTE. My question is Can you wireless Mirror this phone to a compatible TV without Media Link HD? I know you can with the MHL adapter.

Unless there is a new app out in playstore that can mirror thru Wi-Fi then no.
Bluetooth is way too slow to be a good option for that.

You have to have a dlna enabled device, I don't know if I'm right but check here:
