Modem performance is location based. What may be good for you may be terrible for me.

So it means performance of modem/radio interface has nothing to do with rom either its jb or ics or ginger

I have had horrible data + wifi speeds since I left AOKP...

I recently left AOKP for Ressurection because I wanted to test out JB (it's awesome). So basically, now I have Siyah kernel 4.01 (will be upgrading it) with a dual boot of Ressurection Remix 3.0.3 and Abbereation 1.2. Please help, the speed averages only 30 Kbps. I am using the same modem as before LE5, and I am in LA so just in case you recommend another modem if you're in a near area.

Just try a different modem. Make sure you get the one corresponding to the ROM type. (Sammy ROM get Sammy modem, aosp ROM getaosp modem)

Have you checked your APN's?
Also... modem has nothing to do with wifi.
Wifi speeds are not as slow, but a lot slower then they were and yes my apns are set correctly.

There is not a huge difference between ICS and JB, but it is. So motorola should had to have a long integration & testing period.

[Mod] Reflective Softkey Icons

I saw these softkeys in some other forums and decided to post them here in a flashable .zip file. I can confirm this working on the Vitreous rom over at Rootzwiki. If they do or dont work in some other roms here let me know. The images were made by atticus182 and he gave me permission to use them here. The original thread for these softkey icons is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1413582.
As always I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device.

There is one download for the stock white and another one for ICS blue. I can also modify these based on other peoples requests as well and get to them when I have time.

Reflective ICS blue: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/29198848/StockReflectiveBlue.zip
Hope you guys enjoy these!

Glad this worked for you! I wasnt sure what roms it would be compatible with but as long as they use the stock SystemUI it should flash over top just fine.

So, I was recently asked if there was a way to go back to the stock kernel without reflashing the rom. While i wanted to say, "Just reflash the rom", that could be kind of an inconvenience for someone who has added mods of their own or flashed a theme they liked. So after doing a quick research {Credits to Google), I quickly put together the MJ9 Stock Kernel for the Verizon Note 2. This is mainly for those who flashed the AGNI or Devil Kernel and wanted to restore back to stock kernel.
MJ9 Stock Kernel - http://www.mediafire.com/download/b0w2hq1ukbdf33f/MJ9+Stock+Kernel.zip
Mirror (AFH) - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23311191640113944
So now you are free to explore with other Verizon Note 2 Compatible Kernels and tweak to your liking. And if you do not like the results, you can go back to stock kernel without reflashing the rom. Just remember...first and foremost, MAKE A BACKUP before anything.
Have fun!
