Hello Note2 Friends, I'd like to introduce to you my new little xposed module app called XQuickSettingsToggle.
As the name implies, it has something to do with the Quick Settings Toggles on the notification panel. What it does is allows you to select a theme or customize the colors of various parts of the toggles including background, text color and transparency without reboot (only a SystemUI restart). I think the pictures below will better show what I am talking about.
So as I said, it requires that you have the xposed framework installed. This is only for TW-based roms. Download the module apk below, install like any other app, enable it in xposed installer app then reboot. After reboot, open the XQuickSettingsToggle app then enable it and select your theme and customize what you want. Then restart SystemUI (available as a menu option). ENJOY.
TIP: If you combine this with my other xposed module: XBackground then you can enable transparency in the toggles that would reflect the notification panel background that you choose with XBackground.

would it be possible to add an option to shrink the buttons if the text and/or indicator line are disabled?
could you perhaps also add a small preview of different themes, or what the current configuration will look like?
it's a bit tedious to reboot after every minor change to see if it looks good, and repeated soft-reboots can cause issues like wiping remembered Wi-Fi networks.
and I've found a few small cosmetic glitches.
in themes without an indicator line, the indicator line becomes temporarily visible while toggling.
and in several themes the off state of the Wi-Fi toggle is much lower quality than the other buttons/states, it looks like it's a lower resolution upscaled to the regular resolution, making it look blurry.
this doesn't happen when using the stock theme, but it I've seen it in both the white and ics blue themes.

How did you do that? I mean you have even the brightness slider transparent, how? I've transparency, but not on brightness slider or any notifications!

Managed by setting background to transparent. Only 1 thing though - I see on your screenshot that i.e. brightness control has transparent background and on my phone it doesn't?
I slid the color to the right ..it's a small transparent background but you can't see it with image I'm using ..

on deodexed ,Yes but no with Simplistic Framework .

This one is not working for me.
I'm on jedi xv14, could the 23 toggle mod baked into the rom be the reason?
The transparent notification and ui background mod worked flawlessly so thats why I ask about the lindroid settings.

I doubt I'll do much more with this. I took the parts of other things that were out there and rolled them up how I liked. The majority of this is from nitsuj17, some of it I got other places, and some of it I made myself.
Anybody who knows me knows I like some color in my status bar. I did not want to make a whole ROM, so I made this.
This is for a deodexed stock system.
It has:
Wake with volume keys
Hidden GPS icon
Hidden debugging icon
AOSP recents
Rotating Rosie
5x6 app drawer
Remap recents button
Hidden NFC icon
Advanced Power Menu
Removed three dots menu
Centered clock
Accurate battery
And of course, the colored icons in the status bar, and the custom lockring!
I think that's it. Flash it in recovery.

Thanks for this. It's a good combo of tweaks/themes. Running on top of stock deodexed/rooted rom with cubed 2.4.2 kernel. Almost TOO much color in the status bar, had to switch from stock wallpaper to something more colorful!

How did you modify the lock ring? I didn't think m10 tools were updated yet, and I've tried editing the theme apks but it didn't work.

Hello Guys,
Here is a Xposed Module I have been working on. It is in alpha stage with a few features for now but will definitely get more as I learn more. I call it XBackground and of course requires the Xposed Framework already installed. I am sharing it now even if it is not fully developed to get feedback and suggestions.
XBackground - is an xposed module that runs on top of the xposed framework and its main function (for now) is the ability to let you change the Holo Dark background and Holo Light background used by some stock apps as well as many apps from the Play Store to any custom image from your Gallery or any color you like. It also can replace your Notification Panel background to any color/transparency or to any custom image from your Gallery.

How to install and use?
1. Download and install, then activate it in Xposed Installer and reboot.
2. To use, just run the app and say you want to change the holo dark background, just tick the color and choose the color you want from the color picker, then soft reboot. Or if you want to use a custom image, untick the color option and choose the image from the Gallery then soft reboot.
NOTE: Changing from color to image and vice versa always require a soft reboot. Changing from one color to another color always require a reboot. And changing from one image to another image does not require a reboot.

I know this module still has issues but I am working on the next version with even more options. Just needed some more time as I only do this on my spare time. I appreciate all the feedback and comments and it will guide me on making the next versions better.

Here is the first pass. Right blue clock, 1% battery with charging animation, blue quick setting toggles. I know I missed some, but since you asked I'll let you look it over and add suggestions. The clock color is not quite right. Don't forget to make a backup

The clock, wifi, and toggles look good.
I did notice the data, and signal were missing colour. The battery is missibg the circle mod and looks like carrier lable is back.
Otherwise looks great. I like the small am/pm

I'm a little confused. I see a battery in your pick and that should be a circle with percent text inside. Also the signal bars should be blue. Are you on Goldeneye 3.0 rom? If so, have you installed any other themes or mods? Compare the pics I posted a few back.

Strange. Clean install with 3.0 and no additional mods besides yours. Have circle now and carrier label is gone but large am/pm lol

Xposed have it's own benefit is it works on any jb /ics rom on most of devices. Also you need not to flash but simply apk install.
And of course it's free.
Though simplistic is features rich.

This is the first theme I am making for the Xperia SP! Hope you like it!
Project aoSP - Making your phone LOOK AOSP!
Features:
- All system icons from AOSP (e.g. WiFi, Signal, Battery, Navigation bar, etc)
- This is for .245 FW ONLY!
- Themed all the toggles (except NFC, WiFi Hotspot and Data Roaming as there are no AOSP icons out there) to CM/AOSP
- Changed icons to the official CyanogenMod ones, so now they FOLLOW YOUR THEME ACCENT!
- Changed "Clear All" button to AOSP

Sneak preview of the next update:
Added AOSP style clear all button
Shifted the toggles to below the clock like in CM
Themed all of the toggles to look like AOSP (I just themed some as of now)

I know, but I don't know how to fix the black space between the gaps. Maybe some framework-res.apk or SystemUI.apk edit :good:

- Added more toggles (only NFC and Data Roaming to go!)
- Fixed the weird sizes of some icons (extremely large or extremely small)

AOSP Theme is good but maybe you can make the Battery , SIgnal and WIfi Signal Lighter color.
and also maybe you can make the signal color to be me in permanent blue even no data connection.

This is AOSP!
I am sorry, I can't just listen to you, as there are others who may prefer just the stock look.
And anyway, what I am trying to make is a theme as CLOSE to stock android as possible, so editing the colours will make it not as AOSPish as it is.

xTheme is another alternative, but it can only theme parts of the system (AFAIK only the status bar icons)
This project aims to theme the entire system (toggles, apps, as much as I can) to make it look as close to AOSP as possible.
Maybe now it is just as useful as xTheme, but in the near future, it will be beyond the capabilities of xTheme.

Time for an Update!
Changelog (from v1):
- Themed all the toggles (except NFC, WiFi Hotspot and Data Roaming as there are no AOSP icons out there) to AOSP
- Changed some icons from previous "sneak previews" to the official CyanogenMod ones, so now they FOLLOW YOUR THEME ACCENT! :laugh:
- Fixed some size issues even more! Now the toggles are beautiful!
- Changed "Clear All" button to AOSP
- Moved all toggles to the bottom so it looks more CM! Remove the toggles if your want 99% AOSP!
- MADE A FLASHABLE AROMA ZIP (for preparation of the upcoming ROM) SO INSTALLATION IS EASIER!!! :good:
