m8 = mate (i.e. buddy, friend, companion, bro', etc.)
I don't think any software would help. Those radio chips only work on FM band.
thats right... its a hardware thing...the tuner only works for FM frequencies
something like if you buy an FM only standalone radio, no amount of tweaking will let you recieve AM on it...

You can't. The SGS3 has an SVDO modem as part of the chipset, the Note 2 doesn't.

I would kill, or at lead grievously maim, for a Stock ICS/JB dialer that included the incoming/outgoing calling screens as well.

They both have a ir blaster but since the note 10 doesn't have a output for the ir it would not work, have you tried already?
Does anyone know of a receiver that works for the Sprint variant note 3?
