Bumping posts in a short time span is against XDA rules .

EFS repair is very simple restore your backed up EFS folder if you did not then the search is for corrupt IMEI and EFS .

[Q] Problem with IMEI / Mobile Unsigned

Hello all!
This is my first post, and now I need your help.
I have a Galaxy SIII, but he is having trouble functioning as a phone. Says I'm unsigned.
Finding enough on the internet, I discovered that the problem is the IMEI.
The IMEI appears on the phone's settings is not the same as that described in the label behind the cell.
Searching further, I saw that it would be necessary to backup the EFS folder, but I can not find this folder, already tried all the ways it seeks, even with apps that do this but they are also not there.
Somehow, this folder has been deleted from my device.
And now, what should I do?
Is there a generic folder that can be used to retrieve the IMEI?
Please ask your help because I am very frustrated with this.

To late .
EFS folder is used to restore IMEI from a backup of your EFS .
Return phone to the seller or take to a service centre for repair .
Wrong IMEI can be stolen phone user flashing firmware or phone failure .
Try a factory reset first .

I tried the factory reset, but it did not work.
Is not there any way to do this?
just restore the efs backup you've made. if you didn't, try restoring any nandroid backups, maybe they have efs included. if that doesn't work, try looking in the sdcard for some files that have "efs" in the name, some kernels back it up automatically. use adb to view the files (Google it). if that doesn't work, try flashing a stock rom and factory resetting from recovery.
and that is absolutely everything you can do.

How to put EFS folder back? IMEI = null/null

I have bought a galaxy s3.
Old owner has deleted efs folder while he was trying to install a rom. he had also no efs backup.
How can i put it back? i have my phones imei but imei shows null/null.
Return it for a refund, there are some solutions for efs problems here in q&a but they probably won't help your situation.
Likewise no EFS no phone .
You can search and read all the multiple lost EFS posts .
Guess the seller new that EFS is not replaceable .
Possible a service centre may repair if you have the IMEI and an original sales receipt.

[Q] imei lost

I made a backup of my efs folder a few days ago and after flashing ultimarom my imei was changed to the 000...900 sort of number. Was wondering how to restore this backup and get my imei back.
sorry for the noobish question
If it adds anything I made a ktool backup but now ktool says it doesn't exist...
Please go to the EFS/ IMEI thread in faqs and guides .
Exist may dsepend upon where you put the EFS backup.

[Q] efs and IMEI

Hello guys. I have a question, I tried a lot of different methods to backup the efs folder: used kTool tryed Philz recovery and many more. But I'm not sure if they really made a working backup.
First the ktool when I pressed backup and it finished it sad it was successful but when it ask to check if it's ok at the and it sad that "nv_data.bin NOT FOUND in backup !!!"
Second Philz recovery sad the same successful backup but when I tried to check the files on my pc the .img is a broken file, can't open it withe winrar.
The same is happening with every backuper. When I try to opened them they are all broken.
So my question is that should thees be broken or what ?
Network IMEI EFS
