hey guys..
i was installing zelly cream (jelly bean) ROM in my sony ericsson live with walkman (wt19i)..
at last step when i rebooted my device only sony logo is apperaing..
i forgot to take the backup.. also recovery mode is not opening.. and whenever i connect my phone (switched off) to PC or charger it starts again with bootloop..
pls help me asap..

yes i have unlocked the bootlader.. i followed the steps as given in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155803 ....
didnt flash the kernel.. :\

Sounds like you have a soft brick...
Did you already go back to stock .587 firmware?
Do that and then re-do the steps as instructed in the thread

how can i flash kernel using flashtool? when using flashtool it says device not connected..
Have you got sdk tools installed? If not just download here.
You must shut down your device and press volume up while connecting to pc. Then you open flashtool and click on the flash and then select flashmode. Just choose thee boot.img of the kernel. BUT THAT ONLY WORKS IF YOU HAVE AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER!!
Otherwise flash the stock rom. Just look here in step 2 are steps to root .62/.69 firmware and you must do the "downgrade" to flash firmware, too. Just look at step 2 and do it like it's explained to flash the 4.0.2.A.0.42 firmware. ALL YOUR DATA WILL BE LOST!!
You probably installed rom with stock kennel.. Hmm ... You should use recommended kernel for real ics.. Download kamarush. Kernel and flash it .. Bootloop will be gone...

You have to flash correct kernel for your ROM....try KRsH or MESA kernel

which firmware were you on before trying JS7.1??..try and flash that using flashtool..exclude kernel..
I guess ur bootloader is locked..so recovery(CWM) wont work coz its gone..flashtool is the way to go..

I was on 4.0.4 i flashed that excluding kernel but my phone still in same problem
hi...i rooted and unlocked the bootloader of my xperia ray running 4.04...i downloaded Xparts and installed CWM ...i tried to install CM10 ,but i was failed ....and then i tried to reboot the phone ...but it strucked at the sony logo...i want to install the recoverd stock rom but i was unable to go to the CWM recovery mode,even pressing the volume up button while restarting the phone...plese help me how to solve the problem.pls..thanks...

I have Xperia Ray too. But i'm entering CWM with tapping to screen repeadly. Can you try this?

i will try to keep you updated, and if you find any further information plz tell me as well!
1. Post this in the sony 2011 question thread next time
2. The solution is to download sony update manager and get into fastboot (connect phone to pc and hold power and vol down the same time) then follow onscreen instructions...

I have a problem with my mobile...
I have Sony Xperia P, it is rooted and the USB is not working...
I am trying to install the official version which is not rooted!
It shows me the Update 6.2.A.0.400 which I download and when I try to install it it reboots and starts to install.
In the middle of the install it stops and boots into my old OS and shows me that the update couldn't install...
Can you help me install it?
maybe the update is not fully downloaded !?
try to fix the usb to use Flashtool ,,,,, it is great !

I want to unroot my phone so that I will send it back to fix my USB!
If the phone is rooted, I can't send it for RMA...

Hello, i have a problem. When i try put in my phone older version of android "Xperia P LT22_6.1.1.b.1.75_Kernel" and "succesfully" updated my phone won't turn on. When i trying turn on my phone, only Sony logo blink. I try hard restart (vol. up & power button) but still blinking. Can any1 help me with this problem?

which rom are you on now?
you need to flash the rom instead of kernel if you flash ics kernel on JB

btw: i start phone on flashmode, but after 30sec. phone automatically restart so i cant flash nothing because restart cancel flashing...

You can use that one if you are on unblocked bootloader.
On which version you was before?
If you was on jb and you flash a kernel for ics it won't boot.

You want to flash just the kernel or the Rom mate? You can't flash ics kernel on jb rom. You have to flash or ics or jb.
If you want to downgrade to ics, just flash the ftf file.
I'm using the app and I can't see the whole screenshot mate, sorry

you just need to flash the Xperia P ICS 6.1.1.B.1.75 ftf whole firmware using flashtool
