You will have to reflash your rom from scratch.

So my girl had the Fascinate, she got an iPhone 4S and decided to factory reset her Fascinate. It was rooted, I have no clue what ROM she was running but after the factory reset the phone didn't want to boot up properly, all it does freeze on the Samsung screen. I tried the recovery mode, Volume Up + Home + Power button and all it does it turn the phone off and on, the Samsung screen just flashes on and off. Someone help me?

Hey guys,
I'm attempting to fix a friends Galaxy ace as I have dealt with other android phones but i'm an Ace noobie. The problem started when the phone booted straight into recovery mode with a system/CSC error of some sort. The volume keys work to highlight an option but the home key does not respond to select the option.
I used ODIN to re-flash and everything went smoothly until it finished and it booted straight back into recovery mode but with no CSC error this time.
The home button still does not respond and a hard reset by taking out the battery just ends up with the phone booting back into recovery mode.
Do you reckon the home button is actually screwed? Or is there something more.
Thanks in advance!

Afaik home won't work in recovery

I assumed thats how you select the highlighted option?
Either way the phone keeps booting into recovery and i'm stumped :/
It is how you select he must have misunderstanded you
I have never heard of a prob like this I recon this is tha button but devs like nims, spacecaker could probobly tell if this is a soft error
GOOD LUCK
Try downloading another stock rom and flas that through odin. I think there was aproblem when you were flashing the csc
Galaxy ace X Miracle V2.
Hey every one so i have the T-Mobile SGS 2 SGH-t989. I have been trying to install a rom i want to try out, the Paranoid Android with one for the phone. I have followed the instructions to the letter and i keep getting the same result almost every single time. The issue is that when I try to Wipe/ Cache or Dalvik or any thing else that i need to wipe on CWM 6.0XXX i get the CWM logo on the screen and nothing happens. I let it sit for awhile thinking that it is doing its thing and after about 3 minutes it reboots the phone to T-Mobile logo as if i just restarted it. I have tried using Clockwork Mod Touch and it does the same and I even down graded to the regular one w/o touch and i keep getting the same thing.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong maybe someone can help..Please
Which button are you pressing for the option, the home button or power button?

I press the power button to so select it and it just takes me to the CWM logo in the back ground and does nothing.
It's just repeating the process of showing Galaxy S2 sign and a tiny vibration again and again...What should I do?
No problem with battery.
how can i find its kernel version for rooting it again?
you have a bootloop.
try taking the battery out, waiting a moment and then inserting it. This is called a soft reset.
if that does not work, you need to go into recovery by pressing volume up + home key + power Nand then doing a factory reset.
Thanks Cosmic Blue, it works.
pull out battery, put back, go in recovery, delete cash, factory reset and should work
Yup!
Thanks a million all of you kind guys.
It's recovered to factory setting and the problem resolved.:victory:
Hey everyone, I am new to this type of phone rooting stuff. For some reason I got bored and I read about rooting and thought id give it a go.
I used Odin and it said "Added!" at the end and everything, the phone restarted and I was able to use it, but for some reason the app that I rooted my phone for "Emoji Switcher" said it didnt detect Rooting, so I decided to reboot my phone. Now it stuck on the "Powered by Android" Screen. I cannot turn it off and this model doesnt have a removable battery. I am a newb to this, please help me. I just got this phone. I know, Im irresponsible..

Since its a nonremovable batt. i think they've added the option to force reset it with holding power button for more than 10 seconds. If that works right after the restart press and hold power+home+volume up buttons and it will take you to recovery in which you can reset the phone to factory settings.
