Well,i have a SGA rooted so i decided to install a custom rom with Rom Manager Premium.I have putted the Rom on the sd card root and i started to install it.
When i started to install, the app asked me for flash the Clockwork Mod,so i pressed " accept " and asked me again to confirm the terminal and i pressed Huawei Pulse, because SGA was not in the list,i looked for the rom file (extension .zip) and " started " to install but the phone turned off now is practically " death "
i have tried to start the Recovery mode and Download mode and it don't respond, and i also tried to connect it on the computer.
There is any tutorial of what i have to do to repair it?Help

Put the phone in download mode and use odin to flash the stock firmware from samfirmware for ace (KPH/KPN for europe)
That should do it.

I can't start the download mode.
Some stupid people like you (sorry for this, but this is true) bricked their Aces with Rom Manager. There is only one way to solve this - replace main board of Ace. Your road goes to service center. Tell them, that your Ace just can't power on once you have forgotten to charge it, our something like this. This should work. Good luck.
Omg you bricked your phone. Rom manager do not support ace yet.

Hey!
Sorry for you phone, but you cant NOTHING!!! Read before starting anything serious. Rom Manager not supporting Galaxy Ace YET! If you was came here and JUST ASKED, "how to put the custom Rom in you phone, like Rom Manager", you get your answer like 100 times, that DONT USE ROM MANAGER. A lot of ppl are BRICKED they phones, using Rom Manager. Sorry again for you phone, but next time, PLEASE read before doing something SERIOUS!!!

Rom manager destroyed your phone!
Why didn't search about it?
Go to the store and use your warranty
Try to remove your battery and let your phone rest (haha) for a day or so and then try to put it in the download mode. This worked for me.
Guys, stop telling him that rom mananger bricked his phone over and over again. Doesnt need to be said more than once.

the reason is to warn others of such dangers, it needs to be said countless times otherwise new users just miss things. personally i believe there shall be stickies about rom manager, unlocking and efs etc. actions making phones bricks as it is in other phones' sections of xda. that would save ppl phones and community could grow. but it's up to forum moderators...

I dont think we have a dedicated moderator here anymore? We should nominate a great ace dev to be our mod for this forum
OnT: I think the OP gets the message already on the first post, but people who would brick their phone this way would be too careless to read the information here anyway.

Is your phone still able to goto download mode? Then no worries, it can be brought to life.
Try to flash a STOCK ROM (KPH / KPN / KC1) and not the custom rom. Just keep trying it again and again, no other way.
PS: Many including me had come across this problem. Good luck
Problem was solved by taking it to samsung service!
They changed a main piece. The motherboard!
DO NOT USE GALAXY_UNLOCKER.APK if you dont want your phone tottaly bricked!
There are other ways to unlock it!

Hello,
I dont know IF posting in the right place, but I searched the whole forum for a proper answer how to "unbrick" my boot loop-ed Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830..
Now I've tried installing several firmwares using Odin multi downloader v4.83 but none of them helped me, after all I cant access Recovery Mode!
I can acess Download mode, Emergency Dmod (arm9) and RAMDUMP (arm9)
I have: Android 2.3.3 GingerBread on T-Mobile Carrier (Hungary)!
How did I get here: rooted with SuperOneClick 2.3.2 and used an app for unlock (Galaxy Ace Unlock.apk) witch was probably the main source of the problem... Had no problems until I decided to reboot, rebooted successfully, the problem I had then was No carrier, then tried a second reboot and ever since then I'm stuck into a boot loop with no access whatsoever to RECOVERY MODE.
After installing firmware and waiting the 5 minutes in Odin, my device reboots intro a boot loop after about 2:32 min and nothing can be done furthermore...
I've serched the forum and found that data.rfs is missing in the firmwares... maybe that the source of the problem to... I dont know...
Please help me fix this problem!! Thank you!

You'll just have to keep flashing roms via Download Mode until one works (try flashing the stock rom).
P.S.: Your device has it's own forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1164.

You have done everything you could and it's still not fixed (even the things other people did when they had the same problem - it worked for them, but not for you), so warranty is the only other way to get it fixed (or at least replaced).

Thank you for the help Theonew! Appreciate! I've taken it into warranty service, hopefully they wont find my device inappropriate for free service, and so I dont have to pay for it...
The only problem is that I have to wait at least 8 days untill I get it back..
Anyway, I've researched this Galaxy Unlock apk. and it seems thats the main source of the problem.
Thanks again!
i was running two roms with dual boot. first was a supernexus jb rom and other mystic glory. i had some hicups with supernexus so i flashed a dream kernel over it. for the first time it booted upto dream logo (even asked for loading 2nd rom) and then went black; phone turned off. second time happened the same thing. then i tried to go to cwm recovery mode, but no luck. so booted with mystic glory rom and from the restart menu tried to go to cwm recovery. the phone turned off and now the phone wont boot beyond samsung galaxy s2 logo.
i searched through this forum and couldnt find any solution.
any help would be greatly appreciated. pls provide any links to any threads if you want me to download something.

Dual booting has always been unstable and the only way out is to start from scratch. I would not advice dual booting unless you are able to spend time redoing it.
