I'm new on this site, so i do not know if i am writing my question in correct way.... I have bought HTC wildfire s updated to 2.3.5 gingerbread, but i installed belly jean 4.1.2 and i am very disappointed.. I want to downgrade it to 2.3.5 ginger bread or it's official version (2.1)..I do not know go to downgrade or install or root it.. So i need your help very much.. thanx

i have read this guides : X10Flash 2.1 final & 2.1 Firmware (Update Regions 13.11.2010)
x10 Flash 2.1 Final + Global World Firmware 2.1
but in both says old 1.6 Firmware can not be flashed with this at the moment) should i first update to r2ba026 ?? or can i use any of this 2 guide to update directly?

And as I'm sure it's pointed out in them it's to flash 2.1 fw only, not 1.6.

i just got a rogers branded x10a with currently build: R2BA020 and Firmware : 1.6 and baseband : 1.1.25
i would ideally like my phone to look like the one on this website http://www.malabarth.comeze.com/ its a rom called blue sparks

The first thing you need to do is to upgrade your baseband to the latest firmware possible (Bluespark uses the 2.1.A.0.435). Next is rooting your phone to enable you to install custom ROMS, install xRecovery and you are good to go.

hello guys (First know i was googling alot, and only after could find solution i came here).
now, my friend have Galaxy S1 phone, os on it is: 2.3.3, baseband version:i9000JIJV9 Build number: Gingerbread.JIJVG.
now i understand that the first step on do what i want is root the phone, my problem is to find the correct karnel for my version, all what i find is for android 2.3.4 and higher, and i am on 2.3.3, i was looking for samsung stock rom 2.3.4 or 5 to flash on my phone but didnt find any for my build number...
Anyone knows how i can root this 2.3.3 or how i can make safe update in my phone for 2.3.4 or higher???
