Lol he's stuck with one way out. Reset. like I said its a risk but what else can he do. If phone boots then that "mobile Odin" could work but don't no if it boots os. If he deleted emmc bye bye s2 :thumbdown: I want to know how he got were he is

We don't care.
This is either a knockoff phone, or perhaps someone has flashed firmware for a completely different device & somehow got it to 'kinda work' (I.E boot into 'factory mode)

Yesterday I bought GSII
Then I make it root and download a lot of application
Then , It hang ..

1. Hold down power+vol. up +home button
2. wipe data/factory reset
3. short after press power+vol. down +home button
4. use odin and install any of the official roms
5. it should boot up and then do whatever you want - even cheat on your wife/partner You are excused so don't worry

Did you cheat on your wife? This is essential
But seriously - > 100% sure you are doing something wrong - if it works for 99,99% it should work for you too. Ask a friend in "real life" to do all those steps for you.
This morning i got a similar problem after installing via odin Litening 4.1...grrrr
I finaly restore a nandroid backup (god save nandroid ) and it seem that this restore the boot part...
Anyway now everything is ok....and i'll never flash again a rom if it don't use CWM.... Nah !

it has some resolution issues means when you press volume up and down keys it looks like on the images

I tried this method, but it kept bricking my phone. Had to flash the chinese ICS again.

Well Found the problem for the error, needed to install Stericsons BusyBox.
But When You Say Press the Volume down button when you see the soft leds light up, Well It is not happening.

what man, nobody tested it before posting ? had wasted my mobile when recovery didnt worked. I bought two Samsung Galaxy Ace S5831i from China. The phone was good but I wanted to get rid of all the chinese stuff from it and used Odin and firmware from Sammobile. But instead, I installed the MDB file for the S5830i. (Not intentionally though). The phone seemed okay at first and I didnt notice my mistake until I try to use it. Many error messages and apps fail. The big problem is the Camera. It doesn't work...errorhandlesmesssage -1...Well, then I googled for a custom ROM and couldnt find one. So I used firmware for Galaxy Y and installed that. (Intentionally though I thought the two phones are kinda close ) Now, the phone doesn't start or enter into download mode either. I heard I may be able to enter download mode by USB Jig but then what? I cant find any ROM for the 5831i. And what to do with the second phone? It has the S5830i installed on it. Please please help!!!!

Did you go to download mode using Power+Volume Up+Volume down? Don't install Galaxy Y Roms on the Ace otherwise your phone will get bricked! When you say the Galaxy Ace S5831i is that a typo are do you mean 1i? If so there hardware is probably the same a 0i so you can most probably install 0i Roms on this '1i'.

I dont think it is fake. I tried connecting it with Keis and I could download the ROM. But it kept on giving me error messages. Anyone has any idea which phone may be close enough to this one?

There's no s5831i, check again.
If it's a clone, in the box should be a brand name and try to download the firmware from their stores -I don't know about phones, but tablets can be unbricked so easily-.
If you can confirm is s5830i, just try odin and download a rom for your country -google have them, if you can't find the link let me know i'll re look for the page where most of the country roms are available-.

Hmmm if you flashed both of them I have bad news for you... If not, you might want to try dumping the working one and make an odin flashable package...
Another good option is to install antutu benchmark on the working phone and see the technical specs like processor, gpu, etc..

I have a problem with my s3 international version(i9300)..when I'm flashing the S4 Revolution rom, I'm loosing my imei and I have to go back to stock to recover him because with ktool or from cwm, the restore efs doesn't working...what can I do to keep the rom without loosing my imei ? My clock works fine, but I have a problem with the flame effect !? When I'm turning on the screen, the flame effect doesn't appear by it self and when I touch the screen the flame just appear on screen like an image, not like an effect..did you have an idea about what can I do?I already reinstalled the rom and it works for 2-3 times but after that the effect is dead...

i have 2 mobiles one is galaxy star and 2nd is sduos s7562 both are rooted yesterday i accidently flashed s5282 kernel on sduos s7562 via cwm (i dont know that time i flashed wrong kernel) so normally reboot the s duos phn and now it is not turning on no keys combination,no blackscreen,no charging,nodownload mode so searched a lot on google and found 3 ways:
usbjig
jtag
motherboard replacement
i visit today samsung service center they r telling it cost u rs5500
but i dont want to spend 6000rs on sduos bcoz price is too high so tell me what should i do
should i try usbjig-it will work on bad kernel?
should i give my phn to jtag service-it takes 40hr but with rs1500 and no gurantee
should i replace motherboard not from samsung from cheap markets like gaffaar in karolbhag
plz tell me or any other to make my phn working plzzz

Try adb methods to flash the stock rom

Even if u give to local stores,they will use adb sideload to fix the problem this is india brother
Those air conditioned stores with samsung logo on top also use adb sideload in these kinda problems soo keep ur bucks to urslf and try it hard

Yeah bro delhi [emoji12] and new prblm occurs(after giving to local store not samsung or gaffar market) now my phn vibrates with black/blank screen and after 5 seconds it reboots on/off while charging, power on,usb mode(detectablw on pc for some time) and i tried ur 300k tools its work it takes my phn to download mode (seen on odin)but on phn black screen when i m going to flash stock ron it stucms at setting up or preparing what to do i dnt have sdk right now so how i use adb or i will dowoad sdk? Yes my phn is going to download mode but unable to flash stock rom and i didnt try recovery mode
Evry thing is black
I will try hard to flash stockrom via download mode and adb also

Listen bro dont mess it up try going to recovery mode and if it doesnt happen try flashing the recovery via odin by going to download mode
