while sending sms to group sms, message popup everytime.. previous i was using android version 2.3 i never faced such issue.. kindly let me know how to increase the sms limit also note that my phone is not rooted

Since your smartphone is not rooted you cannot remove the limit with the stock SMS app as some sql files need to be edited.
The workaround is to install a SMS app from app store and there will be no limit. Good Luck
i have tried installing different app also.. like handcent sms, go sms and chomp sms but none of them working for me

I am sorry but you will have to root your CHD. There is no other way.

I been getting problem in receiving sms from more than 4 of my friends. All of them complained that I never reply their text and I realized I didn't even received their text in the first place.
And when I asked them to send again, I have no problem receiving. I found out most of the time when I failed to receive the sms, I'm playing high demand game so is it because of that it kill the sms process that why I'm not able to receive sms?

Wolf 3.7.0, don't have the time to update to latest version.
I'm using go sms pro. I don't have this problem when on 2.2

there have been reports of sms problems i wud recommend updating to his latest as this fixes the problem
is there anyway to receive a mms report ? cuz i like when i send a mms to friend, i want to confirm that he received it ......... i couldn't find any option to check ???? any ideas ???
i need it for mms only not for sms

i went there like 1000 times, there is nothing about mms report.... im on AT&T stock rom
all what i got in MMS settings either change the image size, mms group ......... and at the notifications settings if i check the send messages, will i get notified with sms and mms that are sent it....
Oh sorry
option is present on AHRD. I had no idea At&T took it out.
maybe try Chomp SMS or some other 3rd party sms client.

Some 3rd party SMS apps perform delivery reports like Chomp SMS and iPhone messages emulator. I like both of the apps, chomp is free, iPhone message isn't.
Has anyone gotten the group texting that works on the S3 working on the S4?

Group texting as in it turns a message to multiple recipients into a MMS message so everyone can see the original message and all replies? If so, it's been working just fine for me
Weird. I don't even get the prompt that my other friends do. Can you upload your messaging.apk?

My group messaging does not work. Everyone thats in my group gets an individual text message. It shows that it was sent as a MMS.

This is where Handcent or Handcent Pro Beta flourishes, It works good. If you install it just disable your stock "Message" program under Applications > All.

For some reason on my Nexus Galaxy I get SMS notifications just fine for everyone, except my wife.
I have done the following things that I have seen in other threads but none of them seem to have worked
1. Checked to ensure notifications were on
2. Installed handcent and made it my default SMS client (got notification of SMS from my wife)
3. Uninstalled handcent and reverted to the stock SMS app (did not receive notification from my wife)
4. Installed Textra and made it my default SMS client (got notification of SMS from my wife)
5. Uninstalled Textra and reverted to the stock SMS app (did not receive notification from my wife)
6. Disable Messaging App
7. Rebooted Phone
8. Re-enable Messaging App
Guidance appreciated.

i have recently updated the android os of my xperia z2 to lollipop. now i'm encountering some issues when sending sms. there are times the sms won't send even if i have full bar signal and it only shows "sending" on the messaging app. what i do is i restart my xperia and after the restart all unsend sms will be send this time. does anyone encounter the same issue?how can i fix this?

i have upgraded my xperia z2 via sony pc companion.
I had a Problem because the SMS/mms app tried to send the messages via joyn. I switched to SMS so i solved IT.
You can deavtivate IT in the SMS app settings.

i only have hangouts and messanging app installed on my unit. i cannot find any joyn on my sms app settings
Its called chat on my Phone. Joyn also isnt installed on my Phone.
