update your device, jelly bean has been out for like 3 months now, I used to face same problems while I was on ICS, but after updating not even a single restart in 2 months...
Nothing is changed with second hard reset,
I'll try the upgrade.
Thank you

Sounds like you have the wrong base band.
gotta be really careful with the baseband,
since every rom uses a different one - -
How can you fix it?
Theres a very good guide for updating the baseband by steve.adams.x10 ... Its about 10 threads ago at the moment. Sorry can't seem to link within xda forum app
Never mind your phone. get your mouse checked. it sent you to the wrong forum
Hello everyone...
I was wondering if I could get some help with my phone.. I have a Galaxy 5 and I live in Canada.. I used the "Clean Rom" and the I "igyaan" mod and I can get it to stop lopping at boot.. I can still get into CWM so I think I am kind of still safe?
Would anyone be able to help me out?
This is what I have tried...
I have tried wiping cache, data reset and wiping all the other stuff you are to wipe...I still get the loop..
I have heard something about I may have to update my baseband but I'm not sure how to do that and I was wondering if anyone would have links to the files I have to down load...
I have searched and searched for almost 4 days straight now for like hours and hours.. I'm really feeling hopeless..
Thanks to anyone who would like to help me
Over 125 views and not one single person here can help? Does anyone know a site I could go to that could possibly help me out?
Thanks
Try another rom man and if don't work you need rom for install from odin

Why try the "igyann mod" and stuff???
It's a unofficial repack of some older ROM..
Your safe, don't worry. Just try the latest cyanogenmod (vanilla or the other builds)
ROM's available on this site and MADTeam are all safe.

Well it is a problem with some of the phones, especially xmps...my friend had this and he didn't wanted to root or unlock bl...but finally after trying tons of methods when we couldn't solve it I unlocked bootloader, flashed custom kernel, reflashed the rom and everything is fine till date
Best Regards,

Hey guys, i hope someone can help me because i'm getting desperate.
Here's the problem:
I got a S3 for almost a year now, and always used the stock TouchWiz but recently I noticed how fast could a S3 with CM10 run and decided to change.
Root, flash, ROM installed. Happiness.
I was extremely pleased with the new ROM I was using, that was like one week ago, everything worked fine by then. Unfortunately yesterday my cam just stopped working, and I tried to google it, read more than 30 topics about that at many forums of people getting the same "CAN'T CONNECT TO CAMERA" problem.
I tried everything they said it worked, factory reset, flashing new ROM (tried ParanoidAndroid), Fix Permission on recovery, reflashing the CM10 ROM, tried stable version of CM9, tried to go back to Stock TouchWiz, and nothing seems to work for my phone.
So I got to this topic:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37072484
Tried that code in TouchWiz, and as soon as I type it it opens a window called CameraFirmware Standard but the rest of the screen is black (no options to cycle through), then in 3 seconds the windows closes and I got a message in my Home screen "Factory Test stopped".
I can assume from that that I may have a defected camera? It is a hardware problem?
Hope someone can help me with this, and can't think of anything else to try and I don't want to send it to customer service because they will probably take some days to look at the problem and fix it, and I need my phone to work.
but this issue is almost fixed in the latest CM nightlies!

Software most likely .
Hardware possible but do you have warranty .
Check your warranty status .

Hello everyone,
A few days ago I started to have some issues with my S2. It started to shut down mostly when I was trying to make a call. At first it happened once a day, then twice, but yesterday it shuted down and I couldn't turn it on. It stucked on the booting logo ...
A saw a lot of posts about this problem, many people is having this kind of issues but I couldn't find a good response what to do, and how to do it.
A made a hard reset, and I succesfully turned it on, but the problem is still alive. It keeps shutting down...
As a newbie I don't really know what should I try to resolve this issue, please help me.
Flashing? Rooting? New ROM, Kernel ? ... What could help me ?

So, i had the same problems, was based on ICS, i decided to change to JB so i downloaded a Jelly Bean firmware from www.sammobiles.com it works for me. you have to register yourself before you can download something.
Wait
Are you rooted? and did the problem occur after rooting?
If you're not rooted then i might supect a hardware failure.
