Hey guys, I am having some problems with my radar. My phone will turn on but when it boots up the phone will linger on the HTC splash screen and will not go further. I do not know what to do. I have updated to 7.8 through 7-eighter so that is the firmware I am on. I have called T-Mobile and HTC to come to the conclusion that I would have to spend 185$ in repairs; which it would be easier to buy a new phone for that price. I also can not do a factory reset on the bootloader screen because I do not get an option, instead getting an alleged F400... I also have tried restoring it through zune with no avail... I am at a loss and do not know what to do :crying: Please help!

Help please!
I have just received a refurbished HTC HD2 back from Vodafone after complaining about loss of signal. Now I have noticed that replacement phone has Vodafone logo on start up which original one didn't. Is there anyway to get rid of this.
Have spoken to Vodafone who would not remove it and quite happily told me that there is a problem with the network in my area and not the phone now. I am moving to a different network, this phone is not locked but the Vodafone start up logo has to go.
Thanks in advance.
I apologise if this resoultion is on another thread but I have spent the last few hours trying to find something but to no avail.
yes just search for a boot screen app on xda and install what you want.
if it pops up immidiately after you start the phone, you need to flash an official unbranded HTC ROM (needs HSPL or SSPL).
If you mean the bootup screen, then do what malkrae said.
Hi Guys

Howdy folks,
I have an AT&T Motorola Atrix that was running 2.2.2 and now has 2.3.4. The problem has been when I brought my Atrix over to Japan I put in the incorrect unlock code and now it appears to be hard locked.
Now, I'm back in the US and put my AT&T SIM card back into the device and it's still asking me for the unlock code. The Atrix won't connect automatically or manually to the AT&T or T-Mobile networks even though both show up as a selection for the phone.
I've tried soft, hard and complete wipes of the device and I'm still at the same point where I left off. I'm on my backup iPhone and things are painful being away from android! Does anybody have any ideas that might help get this fixed?
hi friends im new here .. I come here for help. htc evo 4g have a tapeworm lte lit very well, but then trailed off as I give to light does not pass the logo of HTC and blank screen just does that, well the fact is that I have some experience in cellular try do hard reset and no one clear storage case and nothing when I try to pass the new RUU does not enter bootloader mode black screen just stays there and does nothing more .. need help, some council that they can give me ???
So I tried to use a RUU for 5.1 update for AT&T. My device is unlocked being used under the T-Mobile network. I cannot get OTA updates. So when the RUU was occurring, the update failed and the phone was stuck on a download screen and it wouldn't load.
So I called HTC to help and they told me to hold down the power buttons w/ both the volume keys together. The phone seemed to start working with everything in tact, but then the phone constantly reboots. Especially when I play music, it makes static noises. I cannot seem to get it to be on for more than two minutes because it constantly restarts.
I plan on using my Uh-Oh carrier swap option to T-Mobile but rather fix it since it's a software issue and their troubleshooting doesn't seem to help.
Can anyone help me with my situation please? It's on 5.0.2 so far.
sounds like you didnt fully update with the RUU, try it again or you can do it the other way and flash the zip
Hello,
I didn't know where to post my problem and I'm not sure if it is worth creating another thread so here it is. I bought a new HTC ONE M9 ATT with stock software. Connecting to wifi, settings, system update and it says that there are no updates available for my phone. Why is that happening?
Thanks
