Hello XDA community,
As I am new to Custom ROM development.. I used the tutorial by lokeshsaini94 and developed my own First custom ROM (modded and edited by me) [Tutorial Thread Link] Thanks to him for such a useful guide :good: for noobs like me
I used this for Galaxy S II Boot Animation [Link]
Highlights :
This ROM is build for better connection, battery, performance, Image quality, video recording and more [Used this build.prop]
Tweak used :
1 - [TweakZV6] Init.d best tweaks[Flashable] Increase your performance by [email protected]
[Thanks [email protected] for this Tweak :good: ]
Actually, I need a guy who can test my ROM and see if it works perfectly. I didn't tested this ROM but I wanna know if it's perfectly build or not.
NOTE 1 :- Flashable using Odin
NOTE 2 :- Proceed at your own risk for testing this ROM and I am not responsible if any damage caused to your device [I ain't forcing you to test this ROM] and it's build only for Galaxy S2 GT-I9100

What If my ROM didn't work ??? Can i switch back to normal mode or my S II get's bricked forever ?? :fingers-crossed:

Yeah.. ROM's built by newbies are risky.. but I used tutorial by lokeshsaini94 to build this ROM. So, I think it would work perfectly... but still it's scary to test my own ROM and I though Developers are here at XDA who can restore their phone if this ROM didn't worked which I don't know exactly the restore process..
Everyone please stop.. it's not safe to Flash this ROM..
I want to delete this thread.. but i could not find it.. can anyone help me out ??

Everything that is wrong with that ROM is wrong with this one plus a lot more at the moment.
Use one of the kernels from that thread to get it booted, please note it takes a while!
Make sure to wipe EVERYTHING before installing.
You should use -64 baseband and flash after a fresh install of .62 stock firmware.
I will work on this further when I come back on Monday.

Just thought I would say, you have done well becoming a developer starting from nowhere
I found that kernel v3 was the only one which worked for me, beautiful looking software <3 MIUI. Couldnt get to the settings menu though to fix the graphical glitches :/ so i had to go back to ICX beta.
Media programs do not work, just crash everytime you do anything.
But keep up the good work mate

*Download the zip Package and copy to sdcard

*reboot and enjoy

why do you guys keep comparing ROMs, every ROM has his advantages ahead of others in a specific way (and its cons too), for example nothing stands ahead of Feralab when it comes to tweaks and new stuff, including the BEST camera,
this one has a new look so it makes it a unique experience, enjoy DEVs works and keep positive constructive feedback

Instructions:
1.Switch off the phone.
2.Flash the given kernel.
3.Go to CWM recovery by pressing the Volume down button when FXP logo shows up during start.
4.Go to Factory Reset/Data Wipe and do the wipe.
5.Wipe the cache partition.
6.Go to Advanced->Wipe Dalvik Cache and Battery Stats.
7.Then go to Flash Custom Rom and flash these files and also Beats audio but preferably after next boot.
8.Thats all your phone will boot into Mokee OS.
Working: Almost everything.
Build.prop heavily tweaked.
Bugs: Maybe a few chinese texts. Please report me back. And camcorder lags. It will be the same unless FXP gives a fix.

And so?what is the point?let him release his version...he just need to remove paid apps!! Can't we have more than one rom based on the same sources?? How many cm7 based rom do we have??sincerely I don't like this kind of behaviour...we are still working and fighting for the same objective...improving our beloved phone!! Sorry for off topic

I created my thread at 9.45 p.m IST and you created ur's at 11.53 p.m IST... You release ur rom and i'll also release mine.. Many cm7 base roms are out there.. and i have removed d paid apps

I ported it before 3 days and I was checking it

Ya i have ported it uploading now.. And a small help.. If i add any apps to system/app folder in the rom which i am gng to flash, will that app be present after installation??

yes i did not say is from samsung ! is a port from lg p500 ! and apps are from samsung rom!Yes you can port it but you need to thank me in the thread an click thanks!
I tried port this rom but it didn't boot. I think now when you ported this rom for stock kernel, port this rom to nAa kernel will be easier.

You also didn't ask coolcatgethome for permission to use his launcher in your rom
And further more as a suggestion I suggest you to use ur native cm port and just copy The frame work and the apps you will have less bugs

Nope. You should know that a ROM thread without a download link is strictly not allowed in XDA. He must have the link first.

Hi. I'm a bit new to this, and was wondering if a way to improve my ace performance, would a custom stock android based ROM improve the phone? As at the moment it is laggy and has loads of bloatware taking up the internal memory.
So will doing this make the phone less laggy and improve performance?

Yes it will increase the performance but depends on the ROM you're using.
After flashing a custom rom, you can apply additional tweaks to it. Which hence increase performance, smoothness, network speed etc ; depending on the tweaks.
Also with more performance, there is a price to pay! You will be facing alot of battery drianage. But that depends again on the tweaks you applied.
Most Custom Rom have inbuilt tweaks with them. That makes them special and are good.
To be honest, i think stock rom is the best except for the look though.

SGS3 v5 is not JB. It's Gingerbread
And it's a little bit immoral to compare, suggest or show preference towards certain ROMs
Not only that, but it's also against rules
also my first rom was mind cr 2.9 looks great and works great contacs works if you flash their version i u use your version mine was m conttcs wold not appear they ha vea rom that flashing that with odin then mind cr will read contacs.
