Credit goes to BrwnSuperman for finding these and then I took them and put them in a cwm flashable zip. So, I figured I would post this in the Development section (Mods feel free to move it if you see fit) since many of us are on mtd roms and most of these roms have been updated to the new 2.3.5 Android code. Here are the updated 2.3.5 GB gapps: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?67t2077vf4q3zd6 Included are the new gtalk, new car home, new market, updated google search, and all the rest of the little system service apps etc. that can't be downloaded from the market. All (I think) updated to 2.3.5. Flash from cwm recovery and enjoy.
Edit: here is a mirror as it was reported that there was a problem with the mediafire link: http://www.multiupload.com/Q184Q5YS09

curious
just noticed that i have not installed GAPPS since i first came on board on the 07/04 build, i also installed the new market..not sure if that has anything to do with it......so has anyone else installed the new market and from there havent had any issues? running the 07/28 build....and still the new market works...
Can't Google apps be updated via the market...I flashed the one listed in the OP of the CM7 thread, but have updated through the market, so are these newer than that?
Also, if I am on CM7 7/18 winch is Android 2.3.4...would flashing this screw up something?

Well, I know google talk can't be updated through the market and yes, these are the gapps that came from the nexus 2.3.5 code release earlier this week. All the little google services apps are updated as well, not just the main apps. You can just wipe cache/dalvik and flash these but you might have to erase the old ones manually.
Can I remove some of the apk that I am not going to use in the gapps.zip?
Just installed on latest CM7 (not the nightly), runs good. I've been wanting this new gtalk, if only it could be updated via the market. Thanks thanks

So I hope I am not the only one with this issue, but when I flash it either on CM7 or JTs AOSP 2.3.5 rom, after I select what apps I want, the loading just keeps spinning and spinning until I rotate the screen, then I select to install, then it keeps spinning again until I rotate back, and I have to do that with EVERY app during the initial app installs, and this was also after a complete wipe of DATA, cache and Dalvik

Quick question I have CM7.1 with 2.3.4 will these gapps work I really only wanted the new talk with video and text. Just wated make sure this is the right one.
I've got CheckRom installed with Kitchen. I've gone into Kitchen to install the ICS Theme but when it installs, I cannot use the Phone or Contacts function. An error comes up about some android.process. Is that not working? Also what is the best theme on there at the moment?
Try factory reset .

as memoix said install theme restore package or flash the whole rom without wiping.
Thank you so much guys. Done it and worked perfect. Then reinstalled the ICS theme and worked. Another noob question. The Kitchen app shows kernels available to download, if I do download it from there and install, is this a no wipe or would it wipe everything from my handset? Which kernel do you recommend?
Also I know it ain't as smooth as my friends one.
No wipe. Leave the same kernel or speedmod for stability.
I went to download rom on the Kitchen app, I am pretty sure I've got the latest version. It says that there's an update and tries to download but always stops around the 30% mark. Is this update an error?
Hi all,
I'm wondering if CheckROM RevoHD™ V4 is including RTL fix ?

I believe that is not included by default, but you can download and flash it with the kitchen app.
Thanks for the reply
Since I can't post in the development thread, can someone let me know if CheckRom will have an update soon for ICS. In a related query, why does the update on the kitchen app for the rom stop downloading after a while....
Does anyone else's home screen swipe lag a bit?
Today i'm instal this CheckRom (RevoHD v4) with ICS 1.7 Domination Soul Bound theme and it look like a Charm. Its faster and incredible then stock room.

Hello guys! I want to ask you guys some questions. First of all what is ''NIGHTLY'' and ''STABLE'' means?
For example i donwloaded the CM. Should i download all Nightly 1, Nightly 2, Nightly 3...? Or just can i download the last one?
And my final question. What is ''MileStone'' and ''Release Candidate'' means? Thank you so much! (sorry for my weak english. I hope i can tell u guys my problems.)
Some other questions on this topic.
You guys know Honami MoonWalker ROM. Some users says V6 is not that stable than V5.5. Most of them says V5.5 is better than V.6.
I search a lot but where can i find the V5.5?
Nightly means a build in an early stage of development.
MileStone was a CM 10.2 version released before Release Candidate. In general, MileStone means a big progress.
Stable stands for CyanogenMod here 10.2, which has been fully fixed recently. By saying fully fixed, I mean the source, not the build for our device.Always be sure to download the latest build, you don't need the ones released before.
So, STABLE > MILESTONE > (BETA) > (ALPHA) > NIGHTLY
Be sure to make a backup of your data before doing anything. Ensure your bootloader is unlocked, then flash a kernel with recovery. Once you are there, you need to wipe system, data and cache partitions so there are no leftovers from the previous rom and everything works fine.

I will use Phantom kernel with CyanogenMod 10.2. LINK There is 2 options. 1-) MileStone 2-) Release Candidate. Which one should i download. In kernel's page dev says i can use that kernel on CM or stock based roms. Can i really?
Or should i use GNU kernel with CM 10.2 LINK. (Man i really appreciate your patience. If i were you i would kill my self for this stu**d questions )
The Phantom kernel is meant for CM 10 roms based on Android 4.1.2. In each CM release you download there is a kernel that is installed automatically when flashing the rom. Of course, you need any kernel with recovery to be able to flash the rom. Release Candidate is newer than MileStone, the builds are listed in chronological order in the thread. Also, when you will be updating your rom to the latest release, don't forget to wipe cache and dalvik cache. If something is not working properly after the update, it means you should try wiping data too, but be careful because that's where all your apps are located.
To be honest, trial and error is the best way of learning stuff, if you have a backup of course.
I can recommend you a really nice app called "Nandroid Manager". It lets you restore apps and their data from backups made in recovery. Keep in mind that it doesn't support CM 10.2's inbuilt Superuser app so you will need to download SuperSU from Play store to be able to use it.

[ROM][4.2.2][XXCMK1][N5100/N5105] MoleculeROM v0.2 [19 Feb] [Updated Apps][Stable & Smooth]
MoleculeROM v0.2 - 19 Feb 2014
NOTE:
I am not a developer, just a modder and an Android enthusiast.
I create/mod/build ROMs and kernels for myself, and want to share with XDA members.
I don't want anything in return, my work might not fit your needs.
Thanks.
ROM INFO:
This ROM is for Stock Touchwiz users who want fast and stable ROM.
Purpose of this ROM:
Give users latest software (both firmware and apps)
Delete some bloatware that might use battery or annoy users some way.
Do not edit much system files and try to be stable as possible, stay close to stock ROM.
FEATURES:
Compatible with N5100 and N5105 (Phone calls are enabled for N5105)
ROM is based on latest 4.2.2 JellyBean N5100XXCMK1 Stock ROM
Includes stock kernel and radio
Updated all gapps and Samsung Apps to latest version (09 Feb. 2014). So you do not need to update all apps via Play Store.
Deodexed,zipaligned all apps
Includes latest version of busybox.
Not rooted by default
Deleted Hub apps but includes SApps
Includes Photo and Video Editor apps for easy editing from Gallery.
HOW TO INSTALL:
I recommend full wipe (cache, dalvik cache, system, data) if you are coming from other ROM and wiping system and cache, dalvik cache if you are upgrading. Just use TWRP or CWM recoveries and flash ROM. Afterwards you can flash kernel, bloatware remover and SuperSU.
REMOVING BLOATWARE:
By default I didn't removed much apps, because some users might need them, some apps are not installable from Play Store (at least in some countries)
But I created a ZIP that you can flash and remove bloatware and get a "Lite" ROM:
BLOATWARE REMOVER v0.1: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407570525
This will remove: Help, Kies Air, AwesomeNote, PeelTab, WatchON, Link, PaperArtist, Earth, Keep, CloudPrint, Dropbox, Magazines (Newstand), Books, Play Games, Nova
If you are rooted, you can remove apps you want manually.
ROOTING
Download and flash SuperSU:
http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
Why I don't include SuperSU or Xposed Framework and modules:
Some users don't want them.
It is really easy to install them if you want.
Apps from Play Store or Sapps can easily (even automatically) updated, but they require user action and if my ROM gets old, users might have security/stability issues.
Changelog
Code:
===v0.2===:
*Updated some gapps to latest version (Maps, Hangouts)
*Multi-user activated (Like other ROMs S-note only works for main user.)
*Some minor fixes

You can flash it with TWRP, follow the instructions in How To Install, after flashing ROM, if you want your tablet to be rooted, just flash SuperSU zip I mentioned in Rooting section.

Sorry, I don't have N5100 and I don't want anything to go wrong with your device.
i once accidentally flashed civ's 5100 rom on my 5110. if the partitions are all the same then quite possibly the only thing that'll happen is that you'll have a little annoying "no cell signal" on your notification bar. i think wanam can get rid of that. other than the modem, they're pretty much the same device.

Can you please make a mod or a tutorial on how to disable or delete the modem from your Rom so we can be able to use it on the Wifi N5110 Tablet .
Thanks in advance
It is a very nice rom. I delete all the bloatware and is very fast and clean.
Thanks

Lockscreen shortcut option
Lockscreen shortcut option is gone on your ROM.
Setting > lock screen > Screen lock : swipe > swipe option
No shortcut on the swipe option? Is there a way to enable it?
Thanks.
Delete app
I flashed this ROM and Superuser
How can I delete system app without using bloatware remover ? I can't find a way to delete app that i don't use eg, kies air newsstand
Use a root file explorer like ES File Explorer and remove unwanted apks from /system folder. But make a backup off all of them before removing. Reboot your device and all should be fine...
