Ever since maps was updated I noticed that it somehow disappeared from my phone. I try to download it on the play store but after the 7mbs is downloaded it shows an error sign. Any help is appreciated
Mine was still in my app drawer. But I went ahead and uninstalled and then reinstalled GMapps without any issues. Have you tried wiping the cache and dalvik? Maybe wiping the Google play store data with titanium will help?

Sadly both methods didn't work and I had to resort to a factory reset but thank you!

All of a sudden on market.android.com it says I have no devices. Can't figure out why. I have tried clearing data from market app and signing out and back in on the browser site and nada. Anyone ever have this happen?
Try clearing the google services framework data as well. It's also inmanage applications. Reboot after clearing it.
Fingers crossed

Cleared cache and dalvik cache and siged into market on phone and all works fine. Just market.android.com doesn't work. Oh well really as long as I can download from phone it's not a HUGE deal. Just a slight annoyance.

No go on that either. No worries reading google help pages they are clueless and it seems to be semi-common. Maybe it will clear away in a day or two.
Go figure! It was my ROM! I've been using it for a while with no issues and now no dice. Reloaded a backup of a different ROM and it works fine now.
I am running the new rc1 download for ultimatum ics. I can download, install any apps but I cannot purchase any. Gives me the unable try again later error. I had no issues with beta 3 version, the market worked fine but the newer versions all give me the same error. I have wiped cache, cleared dalvik, tried full wipes before installing the new versions of ultimatum. Tried going into app management and clearing the play store data and cache as well as Google frame work and clearing that data (it was a suggestion on Google's help site). I restored to my beta 3 backup and the market worked perfect again, then tried to install rc1 back without a wipe and the error occurred yet again. Any other suggestions?
OK, I think I may have found the issue but still cannot fix it maybe someone else can help. I used the play store online to purchase an app. It still gave me an issue. It said that this account hasn't been used with the play store on your device. I don't understand how when it is the same account my phone is synced with.. seems as if the market isn't recognizing my account on my phone.. any help? Thanks
Try logging out of ur google account(s) and then clear market data. After log back in and i think it should work.

Yeap.
OK went menu-settings-accounts/sync and removed the Gmail account. Cleared market app data tried re-entering market. It asked me to sign in.. I did that and still had the error. I also restored my beta 3 backup again and verified I had the same account. Tried installing beta 4 after that no wipe and couldn't purchase anything after changing to 4. Something seems to be getting cleared or messed up during rom change. Just can't pinpoint it.
Delete market apk and push a new one. I have no idea ??

Well man I appreciate the help. I tried pushing an old and new version of the market. Didn't make a difference, I've tried every sequence of deleting and installing with no luck. Only thing I've found different is if I flash back to icscrewd (what I had ran before this) it works fine. What I notice though is after it asks me to sign in to my account after the full wipe, when I do so on that rom it tells me the account was successfully linked with ultimatum it doesn't it just proceeds with loading my data.. but apparently no one else has this issue so I'm clueless.. thanks for the attempts though
Just had the issue. Fixed it with installing market not play store. And let it update to playstore by its self and problem solved for me.

Omg thanks so much, I got it figured out! When I pushed the original market apk it would force close so I pushed the play store apk and still had the issue, so I reinstalled the market apk and went into titanium backup and converted the market file into a system file and that got rid of the force close then it updated on its own after a few and all is fixed now. Thanks for your time man!
I have wiped cache, dalvik, framework, play store, etc. And I still get the same error. Help!!

this also happen to me a few times and clearing cache and framework didn't fix it.
I resolved this by removing TB (probably already removed and you are trying to install back in). I then use RootExplorer to manually pushed the TB apk in system/app. Reboot phone. Once installed, go to G Play and update to newest version if you don't have it already.
Had to do another full wipe after just doing one this morning!

It's a known issue, sometimes it goes away, sometimes you gotta reload your rom completely.

not necessarily true, you can install an older version of market to fix it. Worked for me as a last resort

That works temporarily, when the market auto update itself, it comes right back. Trust me, I tried
The guy above's post reminds me of a fix, wipe the cache of the apps, market, etc. Then log out of your google account, reboot, wipe them again then sign in back into your gmail account, should fix it.
He's right just remove your google account and add it again it should fix. Had this happen to me 2 days ago.
I have been running Charmeleon ROM and just recently I am unable to download any updates for my apps, or download any new apps. It always says Your device isn' t compatible with this item. Is there any way to fix this?

Did you try to go in settings the apps, then find Google services and clear data? Then reboot your phone, you can also clear your play store data, then go in recovery clear dalvick and cache... Also try fixing permissions... But the first thing should do it... Good luck!

I tried that and it didn't work, also on reboot it says unfortunately google partner has stopped working and has a box to tap that says ok. I'm sure the two are related.
Uninstalled play services and reinstall it fresh, also try to flash another gapps package using goo manager from the play store or get the ones from chameleon os website...

Wait a minute.
Charmeleon ROM or chameleon ROM? Two totally different ROMs. Totally.
Please specify. If on charmeleon, you're way outdated and need to be brought to speed...
If on chameleon, then like the above poster said, try clearing some data and trying again
Edit: everyone, I think this person is running a ROM from June of 2012
So I have a Sprint Note 3, Stock, Latest OTA, Non Rooted. Problem is, maps will force close continuously while in navigation mode. GPS seems to work fine on locating me on the maps side and in other apps that use gps in some form or another. Ive also cleared cache, un installed, reboot and re installed the updates and that makes no change.
Any help would be amazing.
How did u uninstall the app if you're not rooted? . This is a system app that can not be removed. Not sure why you are having g force closing issues as mine works just fine. . Have you tried clearing data instead of just cache?

I dont wanna hafta root that phone as the user that has it might end up breaking something.
I thought about a hard reset.
This did not correct the problem. Nor did the hard reset. Could it be a problem with the actual phone?
