[Q] Formatting the whole phone

So my phone has been acing very strange lately a lot of functions just crash and even the battery drains very very fast. Sometimes I get an yellow triangle besides the battery when charging it while off.
I think I have flashed it too many times for it to handle. So I'm just wondering if t would be a problem for my phone if I decided to format the whole "USB drive" from my computer. Leave no traces of anything. Will I be able to use my phone at all?
Thanks for anwer
That won't reset it to a factory default.
Sent from my Galaxy S2.
You can also format it through settings->memory... Plus, you can go to recovery and wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.. This will allow you to go back to factory settings...!

Pasting this from another thread. I really need help.
Hi, I'm an android noob, and I'm having trouble installing this ROM. I go to recovery mode (TWRP 3.0.2-0) and I select factory reset and/or wipe dalvik and cache individually. I then go to my SD card and install the ROM and Gapps 6.0. I then reboot (tried wiping dalvik and cache too again before this step) and then, the motorola warning boot message shows up. I understand that it should show up for some 10 mins, but an hour is ridiculous. So I suspect that I'm missing something. Please help.
What is the rom and your device???
I got the same problem.
OK guys, so today I encountered the same problem. Actually I was trying to install the stock ROM, but I downloaded the wrong ROM and then when I had cleared all data(Internal Storage, dalvik cache, etc.) I accidentally rebooted my device and since then I'm stuck at the bootloader warning screen. Even when I try to power off so that I can go to recovery, it just restarts and I'm again stuck at that screen. Please help!

Stuck in Safe mode S3 I9300

hello everybody, so lately i have my galaxy S3 to my sister which was running CM13.0 latest snapshot.
One day she came at me and said about being in "safe mode", i told her to reboot the phone normally and it should be fine. Unfortunately it didn't work, so i went to try fixing it myself.
1. wiped cache + dalvik, didn't work.
2. wiped cache + dalvik + system, still didn't work.
3. Factory reset, didn't work either.
4. while everything except internal storage and reinstall the rom and gapps, and still in safe mode.
5. i just wiped everything including internal storage, then i install CM 14.1 unofficial + Android N Gapps, and it was still in safe mode.
there is no notification telling that i an in safe mode in the nitridation tray. just the "safe mode" text on the bottom left side. Anyone would know how this problem could have occurred? Where is the main source of the problem? and is it hardware or software related? how should i fix it?
thank you in advance for an answer.
