Hi there, I've decompiled my SystemUI to add Task manager and Android N style quick settings and notifications
And I modded the SystemUI.apk for those who are lazy to do it or don't know how to do this (decompile, edit, recompile..) [emoji14]
Please deodexed users try this and report[emoji1]
I've taken them from this:
credits: idid idamrep
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...ide-how-to-add-task-manager-panel-to-t3212189
and
credits: nreuge
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...es-apps/tut-android-n-style-symtemui-t3377428
-You need root (of course)
-You may need superusermod
-A root file manager (I use MiXplorer)
-What you have to do is replace the SystemUI.apk from /system/priv-app/SystemUI/ (Do a backup of your original file just in case) and set rw-r-r permissions (644) and reboot
Hope you guys enjoy it :victory:
Thanks for the mod! Did you include aosp signal icons? How did you get it on the screenshots?
Can you do a mod to reduce navbar to 36 dpi or something like that? Thx
Does it require a deodexed rom?
And could you post the original SystemUI.apk? I lost it..

Or delete the odex file

Are you in the latest version? (3.xx)
I think it could work but try it by yourself
But firstly backup your original one
Don't forget to set the right permissions
And If it doesn't work, try it but with superusermod
If your rom is odexed, try removing your SystemUI.odex located in your arm64 folder; if it is deodexed, it probably won't work
If you have Gravitybox and then it gives bootloop after replacing the apk, it's a issue of Gravitybox
And If it didn't work with any of that workarounds, please share your SystemUI.apk, your firmware version and if it is deodexed

Nope, firstly I just wanted to mod my odexed systemui and the mods can work in both deodexed and odexed
I think my systemui is a little different because before I did another mod and that may have corrupted the file
I will try to mod the systemui.apk from the file you have uploaded and I want you to try it and if it works, I will update the op and then I'll add the aosp style
