Best Kernel for RR 4.1.1 OS?

Guys,
I am using RR JB rom and some times during email writting or even entering settings window I have a lag.
Which Kernel would be the best one for me to use? Right now using Dream Kernel.
Thanks!
Should be in Q+A... As for your question, ask in the RR thread...or better still, just try them out yourself.

Try siyah 3.5.2 or dorimanx (latest, I forgot the version), and see how that's going for you.
Latest Siyah is 4.0.1.

[Q] Changing Kernels

Noob question here..
Just wanna ask if its okay to change the current Kernel of your custom ROM to a new compatible Kernel without reinstalling the whole ROM again?
Thanks..

Yes, if the new kernel is compatible with the rom you are using.
For example - there are devs who made kernels for Stock and CM roms.
If you are using stock rom with custom kernel you can fastboot another kernel for stock rom from another developer.
You should have a look at this thread, i think. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100529

Probably never.Samsung's 4.2.2 still uses 3.0.x kernel,so no sources for 3.4.x.

ROM is CM based, but device source is mako based, so you can only flash mako kernels

Thank you guys for this beautiful work! I'm running the 6-2 version with matrix linaro mod and it's running fantastic! I was just curious as to why this thread is in the General section? I found this over on the Sprint page just by chance but I probably would not of found it in the General section because I rarely come to it. Again thanks for all the wonderful work.
