in gingerbread .62 the music player is force closing
i removed stock music player,it keep fc when i flash DSP Manager ICS...so i removed both.....using walkmanmod player now....
I have three very good headphones, want to try but it seems the rom is for X8. Does it work for every modded neo rom?

Yes..its mod for rom x8,its also said this mod for 2.3(ICS not supported yet)..but..i,m on Neo with MooDeD ICS Rom v1 and its working..
I also apply this mod in IS JJ,s HYBRID ROM v3-Neo with 2.6.32.9-v1 [email protected]#11 kernel[boot_ne_ics_beta-v1_rc1-zc.img(lite with zram & cleancahe)].....and its amazing..no fc on stock music player and DSP Manager_ICS....you can switch between DSP & Dolby Mod.....

if your stock .62 firmware has cwm,i think it can be done...i,m not so sure,so DWYOR..
i never tried it in cm9....but,please do a nandroid backup 1st if you want to try...peace

sory bro...i just sharing this,not making this..
I flashed this @#[email protected] and u still lose xloud with it! If you enable xloud in sound settings and exit and go back to the sound settings menu it's unticked!
yes,i noticed that....sorry...but i never use xLoud....so sorry for your trouble
but you can switch to Dolby speaker....arent you?

Dolby makes totally no difference in sound quality on my Neo
I implemented Srs and beats in my rom, and with working xLoud

The mod messes up xloud system files... So you've to restore. Backup or flash the Rom again

I've tried to re-flash the rom ..no changes.. xLOUD from real ics may have bugs ..
how to removing xloud from real ics and replace with other?
i want to keep using that rom..
Ask the developer of the ROM on how to remove xLoud from that particular ROM.
You can try replacing it with DSP Manager or Beats Audio (Both sound enchancement)
I never try merging DSP and Beats, I don't know what is the result of combining their features but I do use DSP Manager (Give some boost)

Okay so installed CM9 but now I'm back to stock rom but the one thing i noticed was that the bass on CM9 was waaayyy more powerful than on stock rom. I use the equalizer app. Using it on stock rom, when you turn up bass boost the sound kind of becomes hollow.. Whereas on CM9 you could feel the punch when using equalizer. I wanted to get that on stock rom, so what i did was copy the lib files from cm9 soundfx to the stock rom (coz I'm a noob and somebody told me that lib files are like sound drivers) but that didn't work. Can anyone help me? I want to get the same punchy bass in stock rom... And I've l
Already used the ACID mod, but uninstalled. I just want the sound drivers. No bloatware apps.. Thanks.
I have always thought that cm sound drivers kind of sucked. If you are back on stock, just install a Walkman.

Now I simply wan't ClearAudio+ on my phone without breaking xLoud or any other feature.
I've tried many mods but it simply breaks one feature or the other so could somebody tell me step by step, how I can get
ClearAudio+ on my phone without breaking any other feature and with links preferably.

You may wait for jelly bean update.... by the end of May... in walkman find setting than klik the CearAudio+
I am using cm10.1 (legacy xperia rom) in my xperia mini. But the sound quality is very very bad. :crying: I don't have any regret for xLoud. But I need clear audio. Please help me anyone. How will I fix the audio problem? :crying:

Hmmm....use Viper4Android...its better than any other sound mod...works well on default player (apollo) or any 3rd party music player such as MiUi Music Player....

i have perfect solution for u!!!:victory: (with cler audio!)
im using this itself on JV-ex rom which is based on legacy xperia... so make this:
delete dspmanager apk in system (or other sound mods like beats)
download flash THIS! BUT make SURE u have choosed version for ics/jb
then download flash THIS!
press them thanks for great mods!
after boot in settings/ sounds u may have to enable it AND if u cant acess soundenchancement / or its not workin u may flash the walkman addon for cm10.1 on fro themems & apps thread..
hope u get it work !!
