NOTE
Credits
All the credits for this fix go to its owner, farenheith, that opened this thread, and explained everything we could ask for, so please, make sure you've thanked him, before reading this, and keep in mind that he can ask me to close this thread, and I will if he wants.
This thread is principally thought to prevent questions and bothering to developers, like farenheith, who has kindly offered us a guide to make this fix ourselves.
I'm not a developer at all, so if I'm opening this thread, it's just because I've learned after tries how to make a modded framework.jar and I want to share as much as I can.
If you need a touchpad patch for your rom:
Tell me which rom you're using;
Provide me with the framework.jar file of that rom (you'll find it under /system/framework folder of your rom);
Remember that I can't test all the framework myself lol, so you'll have to test it.

You may consider adding krisdee's fix for CM9.1, i think FXP216, here cause it's buried deep in the TouchpadFix thread. And giving him proper credit of course
Here is his post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41961511&postcount=801
Good work with this btw, it's great someone took it to himself to continue farenheith's work on this.

We need to check FXP changelog to say for sure, because if they've updated the framework, flashing this would result into misplaced strings/bootloop

If you need I could make a fix for your rom as well, just provide me the framework
My rom MiniMI (FXP205 , CM9) could use one aswell.
Note : I did my own attempt at this and thats the framework.jar included in the rom. It seems like i screwed up somewhere and as a result it did not fully work. It might be best if you take the original FXP205 framework and mod that instead.

Tried this on CM228, it is working with 9mm, but not FIFA, this may mean that the build.prop changes are not all in there. Will try and have a look tomorrow.
doesnt work on MIUI5..and yes i have backup of 3.7.12..but thanks for trying.

That's not bad at all, because that bootloop can only mean two things:
1: the changes made in the framework are incompatible/ in conflict with miui framework (the worst case)
2: you have no space in you system partition lol ( the best case, not what I think it is though )
Gonna test this myself when I get time, maybe I can figure out what's going on

Yeh, some of the build.prop values need to be changed. Check Fahrenheiths thread for the correct values. Works well on Fxp.

Hello everyone,
similar to the other developers (fitsnugly and nazforex) I've been working on CM7 Builds for the N1.
Mainly I've been doing this to learn building Android.
Flashing this may brick your device and there is no support from either Cyanogen and his crew or me. You do this on your own responsibility.
This build is not final - it's more an alpha build. If you decide you shouldn't care about bugs.
What's different in this build?
It containts the ringtones / notifications from the Nexus S
I removed the File Manager, Magic Smoke Wallpaper, Microbes, PinyinIME and OpenWnn
This contains the Gapps
Trackball wake (unmerged from CM7 git)
Some files were moved to /data/app
gps.conf was modifed for better reception in europe - Americans just edit the file and use north-america instead europe
Some changes to the build.prop
Donate
I'll release a new build when some important modifications have been made.
You can see the current CyanogenMod changelog here: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#q,status:merged,n,z
You can flash both via recovery:
You can download the ROM here: http://wp10556497.wp249.webpack.hosteurope.de/builds/update-11-01-2011.zip
The HBOOT 0.35 is located here: http://alternate-coding.com/temp/hboot.zip
Always good to have the choice. thanks
Hi, i didn't get any answer on android-hilfe.de so i may ask you here again.
Does your CM7 build requires to be flashed with Clockwork recovery in order to have the changing icons working (icons change from grey to green...)?
I'm asking because fitsnugly's gapps only work properly with CW recovery.
Thx

Hey Keiran.
Firstoff thanks for the Upload and stuff.
You might want to add other languages though, or encourage people to link you to their localized version of MIUI to port and upload for the forums.
For those who don't know what i'm talking about : I'm on a German DHD ported MIUI right now. (yes i'm switching VERY frequently.. -.-) simply by downloading MIUI-Germany.de's ROM and using BlendMIUI Porting tool.
Works with other localized versions aswell.

WiFi fix was easy, I forgot to replace FreeXperia's with mine, so on boot FreeXperia's overwrote mine meaning WiFi didn't work. But I corrected the ramdisk so that now my WiFi module is there.

Let us know how it goes.
*P.S.* You will NOT be bricked, at most you will just get a bootloop. Mostly likely consequence of doing it and the patch not working is that your home button will be the back, and back will be home, and possibly no signal. But all should be fixed if you follow instructions in that patch thread.
Thanks for the input i will give it a shoot tonight and report any issues

First this rom base off @Kibuuka AOSP ICS and @Texasice Evervolv Perdo ICS for Nexus One. I am not the true developer therefore all credits go to the true developer as I just port the rom.
I intend to port this rom just for us to play around while waiting for the true dev solved the bugs.
Give credit and thanks to the following people for making this ROM possible :

Make a backup of everything before flash, and flash the rom as usually.
Google apps and some applications included in this rom.
All the bugs and not working on the base rom will same on this rom, I'm sure kibuuka will solve it soon
Theme Chooser not working, you can see the themes but when you choose it, the device will reboot and freeze, hv to reflash again.
Still hv random reboots sometimes.
Pls anyone feel free to give any help and solution as I'm not experienced in building rom and linux code related stuff.
Once again, all credit and thanks to the true developer and this rom just for us to play around and feel other features on ICS.

Update to Evervolv-perdo-2.2.0a6 passion, the latest build and might be final as evervolv team working on Jellybean now.
The big improvement on this original build is native camera and camcorder can record and play, but due to camera does not work on our device, so not much changes we get here. I will update again when there is any significant changes on our base rom.
Not work :
- Theme manager still not work (but work well on my supersonic).
- Camera
- Data for some user including me
- Wifi Tethering
- All the bugs from base rom
Looks like this build hv fixed unsaved settings when reboot.
Gapps not included so have to flash seperately, find TheManii thread about newer gapps.
Special thanks to Froilson, Mazda and Team Dirt for SGS3 Samsung Touchwiz and other apps.

Happy flashing

EMMC System ROMS
Please read a quote from jt1134 regarding the new partition layout! Also track him down and thank him...
changed partition layout around to move system to eMMC and move data to OneNAND (greatly improves performance)
NOTE: This update will wipe your device, and previous nandroid backups will no longer be usable due to the changes in the partition layout. Data partition has been reduced to ~468MB. If you find yourself running low on space, move apps to your sdcard. This is a much better solution than the "datadata" partition trick, and NO I will not be reversing or reconsidering this change. Quit installing so many damn apps if you don't like it

------------- OLD POST --------------
Here is a test build I did for the fascinate! I do not have an activated fascinate so I don't really know what works! It sure is quick and smooth though...
I used a prebuilt kernel for this "IcyGlitch V14 B6"!
Please confirm whether phone, data & mms are working?
Recovery has been updated to 6.0.0.7 as well!
The usual disclaimers apply, you flash, the risk is soley on you!!!
I have only flashed this coming from an ICS rom!!! I suggest you do the same!!!
Full WIPE REQUIRED!!!
It is also important to note that this build still utilizes the datadata setup, Therefore a datadata kernel is required!
Build 1 - http://www.sendspace.com/file/rh5dkw
Build 2
62f477c6b12c1ef4306189004d935484 cm-10-20120718-UNOFFICIAL-fascinatemtd.zip - http://www.sendspace.com/file/zviq4i
Build 3 - http://d-h.st/vLa - 137.99 MB
Rooted (Insecure Kernel) For working adb remount, push, etc...
http://d-h.st/MOm - 5.11 MB
Not Working:
Wifi
Video Camera
Phone is stuck on speaker (reported)
Mms does not receive (reported)
Maybe more...

Oh wow, that was amazingly fast. It took less than a minute to download. The original link was gonna take about 20. Many thanks.
EDIT: I just realized you only uploaded 23MB of the file. No wonder it downloaded so quickly.

no its a 138 mb download. Maybe you dl ended early? and kejar is a gnex dev. almost all the roms for gnex jb use his gapps but the other one are from the goo.im.
EDIT: mine only did 23 mb too.... re upping......
notta, how up to date is your build environment? I noticed the commit from pawitp yesterday basically axing the /datadata partition to make room for /system. If you're up to date, the included kernel isn't correct for that partition layout. I know derteufel (sp?) made a kernel for the i9000 with the updated partition layout, but I haven't tried to build it.
