When I go into SuperSU it says no SU binary installed, help please.
If you can, can you link me the binaries and tell me how to flash just the binaries?

Which hboot version are you on ? 1.24 (ICS) or 1.25 (JB) ?
If you're using a JB-made recovery on the ICS hboot (or the other way around) it won't work .
To find out your hboot version just reboot into fastboot or to the bootloader and you can check it there .
For ICS hboot use this recovery .
For JB hboot use this recovery .
Both are taken from this thread & full credit goes to neXus PRIME . I just added the direct links just to make it easier .
After you flash the right recovery , just get the latest SuperSU version (1.41) and flash it .
Also , in the future when and if SuperSU updates , don't try updating the su binary from the app - neither Normal nor TWRP/CWM mode will work . Just download the latest SuperSU zip from here .
Good luck!

my HBoot is 1.25, I have installed SuperUser and it installs fine and everything, but I used a root checker and it still says I don't have root
If you've installed it from the Play Store , then it won't work like that . You have to flash the zip I mentioned above from the Hboot-friendly recovery that you need (in your case , the JB one) .
Root needs more than just the application . It needs a file called "su" inside system/xbin . That's the real deal . SuperUser / SuperSU just controls which apps are given SU rights by that file .
If you tried flashing the zip above but still no luck , try changing the rom (or reflashing the same one from scratch) . Full wipe included .
Might also want to check if busybox is installed properly.

i'm quite confused. I believe my phone is partially rooted. I installed SuperSu but it says that i do not have the Su Binary installed. under root checker it says that supersu is not installed but busybox is. I successfully installed Root Explorer and am able to view system files but not edit them.
anyways, i got a verification error when trying to flash CWM-supersu in recovery. I followed al the steps and downloaded all the required recovery.img files etc. I am tempted to flash a custom rom. but afraid if it gets locked up during the process, as there is no back up option with the stock recovery.
Any suggestions?

Update the binaries in superSU settings or reinstall root with CF-Root with Odin, see item 1 in my signature.

Yes, flash CF-Root with Odin.
Update your busybox to latest version.then update the su..it will work
Then cwm problem can be solved by using a manual cwm(new cwm from someone)...

ok i will look into that. i gotta find a PC. I've successfully rooted 2 S3s with the method i use on mac but for some reason it's not working on this current phone i'm trying to root.
i have HTC Desire X. i can't install busybox, my phone reboots on installing it.
i want to ask that does this flashing the zip file helps? it wont brick my cellphone right?
i got this " Root_SuperSU.1.44-Busybox.1.21.1_in_xbin-signed" and "busybox" zip file from some XDA thread, i have attached it
do i have to install busybox in my phone before going to recovery and flash the zip file?? or without installing busybox on my phone i should go to recovery and flash this zip file? they haven't mentioned anything about it in that XDA thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51688913#post51688913)
i have attached two zip files for BusyBox, please someone check it.
i m not able to install Xposed on my HTC Desire X. after reboot app_process disappears (shown in the picture attached).
there are three modes of installation in Xposed
1. Classic (write to /system directly)
2. manually zip flash by recovery
3. automatically zip flash by recovery
what does 2 and 3 do? and how does 2 and 3 work?
i have installed xposed version 2.1.4 via flashing zip file in twrp i got from this some website (i m not allowed to post the outside link for some reason), i have attached the zip file i got from that website.
Now i want to update it to latest version but after installing lastest version (2.5 or 2.4.1), app_process doesnt get install (app_process number shows 34 in red)
is there a solution to this problem?
is there a way to get Xposed zip for latest version?
Please Help. i m noob.
Thank You

Hard bricking can happen with installing busybox too, same chance as installing kernel. You can also install busybox from recovery, you only need to find a flashable zip

Hi guys. I've HTC desire 601 (4.4.2) with unlocked bootloader and TWRP recovery installed. I can't make the root because even after I install the zip file with su binary and supersu.apk (from recovery) and I reboot the phone , the system isn't rooted yet. I tried to make the root manually, putting supersu.apk into system/app and the su binary into system/bin (and /xbin) [from recovery], but the result is the same. Supersu app appears in the home screen and it says that the binary needs to be updated, but the process fails. How can I do? Thanks
try installing a custom kernel.
you are probably on a stock kernel and that blocks writes to the /system partition.
that's the easiest way that i can think of, the other way is to force s-off.

SuperSU 2.46 is what caused the boot loop in my case.
But TWRP 3.0 works just fine.
Downloading stock rom now to try a reflash to get it out of boot loop.
---------- Post added at 07:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:55 PM ----------
Stock rom is still downloading but got it fixed without doing a full reflash.
SuperSU 2.46 is what caused the boot loop.
Installing SuperSU 2.67 (currently in BETA) is what fixed i for me.
Do recovery
-> Install SuperSU-v.2.67
-> Clear cache/dalvik
Reboot
I'm back in, and SuperSU is installed.
Rooted!
i have already rooted my j200m ... it wasnt too hard, just install the twrp and the super su ... thats all
The easiest way to root your one plus x is via king root.
Download and open the app click on root voilà you have got root access.
After that download flashify from play store an grant it root access.
Open flashify click on flash new recovery image choose the twrp recovery type oneplus x select it, it will display 2 or more images flash the latest one. PLEASR TAKE A NANDROID BACKUP MY DATA WAS NOT LOST BUT JUST TO BE SURE TAKE ONE. Don't forget to clear cache and dalvik cache.
If you don't like kinguser you download the flashable SuperSU zip file and flash it via twrp.
Since I'm a new user I cannot provided you with links but as soon as I will be able to I will add links too.
EDIT-Links in comment.
