Asus Wigets - Transformer TF300T Themes and Apps

I just loaded the Slim Bean unoffical ROM on my tab. Loving it as it is the same rom I use on my SIII. I came from the cromi ROM that I loved. I had tried several other CM10 and AOKP based roms and always came back to stock based just so I could have the Weather and Email Asus widgets.
I really dont want to go back to Stock so is there a way to port the stock widgets to a custom ROM?

I may be wrong but I believe it relies on some special Asus framework.

Not wanting argue but someone had ported them to the Samsung tab 2 7.0 when I had one about a year ago. The screen size just wasn't enough for the larger weather widget.

Custom Rom or Tweaks

I'm not a noob by any means and have got close to finding the perfect rom having tried as many as there are weeks in the year however what I really want is a rom with tw from galaxy s3 on my i9100 and a 5 x 5 grid as there is on aokp. What I don't want is apex or any other launcher as I prefer the stock Samsung experience. Can anyone suggest how I might get s3 tw and a 5 x 5 grid without using another launcher?

[Q] AOSP/AOKP noob

Just started running Neo's AOSP rom, loving it so far. The only thing I miss about Sense is some of the widgets. Is it possible to use sense widgets on a non sense rom?

No.
Edit: To further expound on that, you would need the Sense framework and Rosie (Sense launcher)

People, calendar, friend stream, etc are replicated pretty well by Android Pro Widgets.

Android pro Widgets work great! Thanks.

check this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1732330 it has an exact clone of the Sense 4 Flip clock widget for other launchers (even works in AOSP)
+1 for Android Pro Widgets. Gives you a lot you may miss from Sense. Beautiful Widgets is good for the clock/weather widget we all know so well from Sense, but lately I've been using HD Widgets for the clock/weather, which I like a little better.

Anyone know if we can use the standard ICS gapps with AOKP/AOSP or if the rom dev has to supply them?

You can use standard on any. Neo provides some themed ones for his roms ,but they aren't necessary.
Neo has a download on his aosp and aokp roms for inverted gapps, and another flashable download to turn the inverted apps back to normal.

Samsung Apps with S-pen functions

Does anyone know when there going to incorporate the Samsung apps into the JB builds? Like the Smemo and its S-pen functions (ex//double tap on screen to open note) or will there be an alternative with the S-pen functions created?
Try Paranoid Android ROM...it has S-Pen functions...

CM 10 Problems..
Anyone know of plans to incorporate S Pen apps/features into CM 10? I'm loving this ROM except for that.... I used S Memo all the time when I was stock... :crying:
The original S-Memo functions work only in TouchWiz. You can try some ICS TouchWiz-based rom like Padawan, Nebula (I tried both and they work), Black Ice and other stock/UCLF6 based roms.
Some JB roms have incorporated pen gestures, but it is not the same experience. And this is the reason that I decided to move away from JB roms for now.
Try out Blackstar X and you may not want JB.
With 2 versions of voice search and new Android keyboard with gestures. Ran a few days, ZERO hiccups. Mighty fine indeed.

That's what I hear all of the time is to go back to ICS with tw but I really would like job with tw which is the reasoning for this thread. Although black star is a great ROM, ran it for a day or 2, job is a lot better because its just so buttery smooth hahaha and s memo and that butter smoothness with the other tw features will be awesome. Its just no one has ported any for some reason. You would think someone would convert an international ROM or a galaxy s3 one..

At the moment, there is no TW based JB rom.
It won't happen until an official JB rom is released.
There are many, many people wanting TW on JB, including me. It has been asked before by many and the answer is no. Either go back to ICS with TW or live with JB as it is.

ICONS

I have cm10 on my evo and i keep going back to another sense based rom because although stock jelly bean is amazing i just cant stand the ugly big icons that come with jellybean i like stock jelly bean more than sense as far as how much better my phone runs but i want to know how I can change the look of the icons on cm 10 to the ones that sense has.

4.2 jellybean rom with touchwiz features

Ok guys, so this is my situation.
I decided to go with the s3 instead of the nexus as I was happy to run a custom ROM and get the hardware benefits of the s3.
Brilliant device, my problem is though that I love my 10.1 cm experience but really miss some of the little features of touchwiz.
Does anyone know of a ROM that has the sexy 4.2 jb vanilla feel but with some sneaky touchwiz features under it. Alternatively are there any mods or apps i could use to get the same effects?
Thanks a lot guys and look forward to seeing your thoughts and suggestions.

What features of touchwiz do you want ?

I really fancy having some of the gesture features like tap to top, they are pretty handy. I would also like the ability to use multi window if possible.
