[NOTICE] To Prime Users about JB root

Just a heads up that from looking around it seems there is no root method on the new Jellybean Firmware that does not require a bootloader unlock, so if you are a user that does Not want to unlock their BL and still keep root, don't take the OTA.
The update broke the symlinking method found by Wolf, and I think that was the only working one. Correct me if I am wrong c:
Also, Can someone (Preferably one who doesn't care about bootloader unlocking) please confirm if the OTA rootkeeper works? (Voodoo)
ToD
Also posted in TF300t fora.
Are there any ways to root the latest JB?

If you unlock bootloader yes.
Upgrading from ICS to Jellybean, even while using Voodoo OTA rootkeeper, broke my root.
Although I might have done something wrong, I thought I had done it right, as I had used Voodoo when applying an upgrade to ICS at somepoint in time. That time worked flawlessly.
Since then, I have unlocked my bootloader and cannot be happier! There's work by great people on this forum into custom roms & kernels. Even some very close progress to a fully functional ARM linux, which I am especially excited for; I tried some of the original versions and it was quite impressive. Recovery projects (Im using TWRP) are also very, very, handy to have!
If you're in doubts, here's one anecdote to going beyond root, and unlocking your bootloader. It was worth it for me!
Did the OTA update to JB couple weeks ago and lost root (and rootkeeper backup as well). Now unlocked the BL and using energy rom. glad I did the unlock.
I rooted all the way back on Honeycomb, now on the latest stock (4.1.1), not unlocked, and still rooted (via Voodoo OTA RootKeeper)
At the time, OTA rootkeeper was able to restore my root when upgrading from ICS to JB (since then I've ROMed up).
Perhaps it was because just before the update I deleted the rootkeeper backup and re-created it.

[Q] Lost Root after JB update

I updated my GSM Razr XT910 to JB of EU version. I did use Voodoo root keeper but still lost the root after backup and restore.
Anyway to gain it back??

some people had that problems too, theres no way to root yet, and you cant go back to ICS, so you will stuck unrooted like me

Question on P769BK v20F bootloader.

I just recently upgraded my P769BK to V20F. I saw a previous post about unlocking the v20F boot loader but it seems it's a bum post.
I take it no one has been able to unlock the boot loader for V20F yet?
I want to install Clockwork Mod and CM roms now.
Is there a way I can flash my phone to a previous update that can have the boot loader unlocked? Is that still possible? I heard about this KDZ offline flash thing but I don't know If I can do that still because I have v20F?
If I can revert to a previous version, could anyone recommend what version I should revert to and give me a link or links on what I can do further to get the BL unlocked, clockwork installed, and a good custom rom?
I'd be grateful if someone can help me with this.
Thanks!!

NM. I gave up. Its too much of a damn hassle.
I tried to flash the KDZ method but for some strange reason the LG Update tool just won't read any info on my phone when I have it in S/W mode. The app just crashes. Also it says that LG servers are down for maintenance when attempting to run the LG Mobile Support Tool. What a pain in the ass!
I started with the 20f too and I was able to unlock the bootloader although it was a pita tho good luck

Carloswii5 mentions in his video that you need to install L9Recovery.apk and grant it root permission or you will just boot normally.... yet in an earlier tutorial, there is no mention of this important step. Hmmmm.
