This mod working on my SP .257 firmwares, work on .284 firmwares (thank fai_antoni confirm that)
Detail:
- Docomo Status bar (black/transparent)
- Brightness bar
- If you tap on the clock, the screen will off and lock. And long press will show power menu
Install instructions:
- Reboot to Recovery
- Wipe cache and Dalvik cache
- Flash the Zip
- Reboot
- ENJOY!!!

Bad news, I flashed the .257 official, I deodexed and I flashed your mod, but I have the same problems that I got with Sam's rom, nothing status bar and navigation bar

Is this the original non deodexed files?, I need the stock files.
An old version is fine, as all current roms use same files
No, those are the files I take from my device right now, after I make the mess.

Should be ok on omegas roms as it almost stock, not tested tho.
Anyway, try to wipe dalvik and cache from recovery

Did you flash it directly after flashing omega? I had the same problem, but doc told me to first boot up once without flashing the statusbar, reboot and flash it. And guess what, it worked!

NoteOnly for stock JB (.400\deodex) without reboot mods and other (is replaced by the file android.policy.jar)
Do not forget to make a backup.

- Removed the stock switches (little functional)

Yes, this is the standard limit. Also at Motorola, where they are transparent from the vendor.

I can confirm bro. Its working like a charm
Do this..
1) First delete SemcContactsProvider.odex and SemcPhone.odex from /system/app using Root Explorer
2) Reboot into recovery then flash the zip
3) Wipe Cache and reboot
Done

This mod will change your status bar and navigation bar to BLACK/ TRANSPARENT <--(Drag cursor to see) instead of Grey.
The mod is tested on .257, but it should work on .284

I don't think it will work on odexed rom. You can deodex it easily.

No with all. I use modded SystemUI and have no bootloop at all.

That modded systemui is taken from eXistenZ rom itself dude. Thats y u did not get any bootloop...
