So I reverted to stock s-on after I had rooted with moonshine. I used this tutorial here, but now my phone has a few problems. For one the Wi-Fi won't turn on, and when I try to update to 2.06 my phone restarts and everything, but it still says I'm on 1.15. Also if I try to moonshine it gets to the very end then gives me an error. What should I do? I'm trying to update to 2.06 to moonshine again, but I can't.
Edit: After the 100th time of accepting the update it finally went through.

Hey guys, i updated my Evo 3D with the OTA update that's posted in the development section. Now everything is fine except I don't have WiFi. My Wifi just says error...doesn't even try to start.
I tried to use the RUU to downgrade back to shipped/stock ROM but it gives me the 140 Invalid bootloader error. This is because the hboot got upgraded to 1.40 from 1.30. I am assuming to go back to the original shipped ROM, I need to downgrade hboot back to 1.30.
Any ideas? I've created a Goldcard also and tried to apply the OTA update using that, but I get some "invalid operations.....boot successful" error and it doesn't even update anything...just reboots. I'm not sure if I created the goldcard correctly or whats going on. But right now I have no Wifi and I'm out of country so I have no cellular data either and I can't go to Sprint store either.
Please help!
I saw CyanogenMod10 with JellyBean for Evo3D phones on here, so I decided to give it a try since ICS is running like crap on my phone, only problem is I can't get past the boot animation. This was on Hboot 1.58, so I read around and most people said you have to downgrade to 1.4 or an Engineering version for it to work. Another said you have to completely unroot and re-root, which I tried with no success.
Well I was successful in the temp brick + linux live cd downgrade, I am now running Hboot 1.40. The problem is with the 1.13 RUU not wanting to install, it gives me a bootloader version error after a few minutes of attempting to update the phone. ICS not surprisingly boot loops or freezes on boot animation.
I did read somewhere that bricking the phone twice works, though I don't quite understand how. If someone can confirm it does work I'm willing to do it.
Here's the guide I was following:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1563342
And I'm currently stuck on:
28. Now. Reboot into Windows and run the 1.13 RUU EXE that you downloaded.
Another question I just thought of, do I even need to flash 1.13? Would I be able to just flash the jellybean rom onto the phone now?
Thanks!
Nevermind, I got it working!
Did the brick twice in a row and was able to then update to the 1.13 RUU.
So I was running CM10 and decided to jump from stable to the latest nightly. After doing that I couldnt get any calls out or connect to either cdma or lte. So I figured I would go back to stock and wiped and put RUU 2.13 on, but I still have the same problem. Called sprint, they tried refreshing network services and no dice. I just want to have a working phone again, can anyone give me a hand or some ideas to try?
Here's where the phones at:
RUU: 2.13
s-on
Hboot 1.19
Radio 1.12.11.0809
Phone wont update prl or profile. I have the MSL and tried manually inputting my phone number and msid but when i hit commit changes it said it failed.
Next thing I was going to try is downgrading the hboot back to 1.12 then flashing an older ruu, but at this point I'll try anything.
EDIT: I resolved the issue using DirtyRacun s-off.

I recently decided that I wanted to unroot my HTC Droid DNA. I am just tired of the bugs that come with custom roms and I never really took advantage of root. I tried to use RUU to unroot but I kept getting error 155. I found out that is caused by having the wrong hboot version. I had 1.57 and needed 1.54. I downgraded but accidentally went down to 1.33 and now my computer won't recognize my phone so I can't upgrade my hboot to what I need it to be. I have tried to install the drivers manually the same way I did when I first decided to root my phone but it says that the drivers aren't compatible. Does anyone know of any drivers that I can use or any other way I can unroot my phone? Thanks in advance!
I found a stock android 4.4.2 rom and have decided to just use that rather than unroot my phone. I would still like to know how to update my hboot though so that I can use fastboot. Is there a way I could do it through recovery? If not I guess I need to drivers for hboot 1.33.
I got a DNA today and it's still on JB.
Just seconds before getting a software update on the phone, I decided to see if the latest update is going to block root and seems like it's the case.
Tried to S-OFF thru loads of different methods but all to no avail, so I thought of upgrading it to 605.1 first.
It seems like there's an EXE RUU (http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-dna/general/official-exe-ruus-s-t2935556 ) for that. I should be update from JB to KK with that EXE RUU, right? And I will still be able to S-OFF with firewater with 605.1?
Thanks in advance.
