There you go.
You can extract sistem.sin from the original FTF and then extract it's content with flashtool.
Get ext4_unpacker and you can have any original apk you need.

Hi, can someone upload the original international keyboard from the .62 gb stock rom? I've replaced it with a newer nxt one, but now sym and language selection on my hardware keyboard do not work.

Just download the ftf from here and extract it using for example 7zip or winrar. Then you open flashtool and click advanced -> sin editor. You choose the system.sin from the extracted file and click dump data. Then you download yaffee from here. Just open it and with this you open the system.yaffs2 you have created using flashtool earlier.
Then you can take the apk and click with right on it and then export. Now you will have the apk from .42. I think it's the same as in .62
Or download .69 zip from the post and extract it, then open with yaffey and take the apk

Download the ftf, extract it, dump the sin file using flashtool (flashtool>advanced/tools>sin editor). Download yaffey and open the system.yaffs2 with it. Extract the home apk from /system/app/ and put it on your phone, reboot and see if it works. Otherwise install it in system directory and correct permissions

no need of flashable file. just copy your original home.apk file and replace with current xperia z home apk. also delete home add.apk

Do you happen to know how to extract from .elf? Flashtool dumps the data into system.elf.

yes better extract the ftf and give as its a lot better
plus I dont think that you need root to copy system/ app files
