Hey,a week ago i updated my Samsung Galaxy S2 to the Android version 4.1.2 and since then i tried to find a way to root it without the computer but nothing would work. So,maybe if you know something please help me.

I like your thinking. No Pc. Use philz kernel put on ext sd and go to stock recovery and update.

Now i want to Unroot my phone due to some reasons.

You can restore a backup which you might have made when you weren't rooted, or you can flash the unrooted stock ROM posted in your phone's forum if any.
I really don't know how to root my device.. Ive tried Unlock Root but that didn't work.. My android version is 4.1.2 and I was wondering what I can do to root my device. Please help me.. I think I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket or the SCHI2000

I recently bought a Samsung Player 4.2 (Brand new), model YP-GI1 CW/XEU running the 2.3.6 OS
I tried rooting with superoneclick 2.3.3 and it hangs at step 7 and the program then crashes. From what I understand superoneclick cannot root the device with the 2.3.6 OS
I have looked on the forum and seen the thread for EU devices (started by zebluk), however, I cannot download the rooted ROM as the link is broken
Does anyone know of a working link to the ROM or another way to root the device?
I predominantly want to remove the bloatware and maybe flash a new ROM in future
I have previously rooted my kindle fire and my sons galaxy tab 10.2 which were very straight forward, however, this seems a bit of a pain.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active SGH-I537 (AT&T, 16 GB) and I am running stock firmware (JB 4.3). I literally got this phone yesterday, and I am already missing the root features I had on my previous phone. I have tried the geohot method, but it does not seem to work on android 4.3.

hi everyone.i have samsung galaxy s3 gt-i9300 international version.few weeks ago i flash android 4.4 (phone was rooted 4.3 android) and my phone didn't turn on.then i went in shop where i buyght samsung and programmer flash other 4.3 android.but when i go in download mode odin don't added phone and i can't flash any other android or root it.i tried oneclickroot superoneclick towelroot and other ways but phone doesn't rooted.please help me if you know how i root or flash other android.sorry for my english
