Hey, I install my app and it launches however when it's sitting on the app's drawer and I click on it, it launches it but closes it instantly anyone knows what that could be?

I put an app button on the launchbar (DoggCatcher). Every once in a while the icon changes from the DoggCatcher icon to a generic Android icon.
The DoggCatcher icon returns when I get an app update from the Market.
Eventually, it goes back to the generic icon and the process repeats over and over.
The functionality remains the same. It's just that the icon changes.
Does this happen to anyone else with any of your icons on the launchbar?
Does anyone have an idea why or how to prevent it from happening?
Thanks
have you tried with another icons? I had change the icons so often without any problem... (I believe your talking about dock application, right? )
Changed app to see what happens
Yes, I am talking about the dock application at the bottom of every screen. I just changed the app on the launch bar to see what happens.
The Google Music icon that I have on the launch bar never changes to a generic Android icon so you could be right.
It might be the DoggCatcher app.
Thanks
Is DoggCatcher on the SD card? If so, try moving it to internal storage and see what happens.
It is on the SD Card
I'll try moving it. Good suggestion.
I notice that sometimes when i open my app drawer, i am sometimes unable to select any app. The drawer will scroll but the icons are un-clickable. I have to close the Drawer and re open to enable apps to onclick. Just wondering if anyone else gets this lill buggy wuggy

Click to collapse
I don't know whether it is possible or not. But one of my application News360 is showing an app icon in status bar. I closed it from task manager and cleared my ram and even it is showing the icon. When I long click it it says something like, "program not respnding, Force Close? Quit, Report" Then when I click quit it still apears in status bar. Does anyone know what it is???
As I remember you can't do this, because the API requires to set the string of the panel (you maybe able to set it to null, but the icon will still be there)

Hi all!
I just downloaded the app SwipePad, which lets you swipe from the edge and have a launchpad with my favorite apps, but i don't like the icon in the notification tray. There is an option to hide the icon, but if i close all apps in the task switcher, SwipePad closes too. Is there an app that let me force android to keep open the app without the notification icon? I have seen multiple apps with root support, that hides the icon, but keeps the app running, but that isn't build into SwipePad.
Thank you in advance

Bump! Sorry...
Noticing that the Weather app shows up in Recent Apps even after I close it. I close the app, wait a few then it shows up again like it has to open to refresh. Anyone else see this?
