Hi.
I'm very unhappy with my phone, because the bootloader is locked and sony don't allow the unlock process.
Anyone think that is possible JB on LB?
Thanks

After search, I think is not possible without Sony.

you need UB LB waiting for SONY
When I tried to install the ROM JB unofficial on mobile without being with UB it was dead.
But needed to perform the procedure to get UB finally use this exellent ROM.
u will need Unlock because we cant use the new drivers on locked Bl
wich makes it impossible to run.
offcourse it can be possible but not without sony

Hi guys
I'm just wondering if there are any ROM's out there for the Mini (ST15i) that don't need a unlocked bootloader? I don't want to unlock it at this time but would love to try some modified Roms. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance

Only with ICS this cam be possible..
And the way things are looking and the latest which I read in Sony forum a guy frm UK asked for the date of update of ICS of Sola. On Sony Facebook page and he got an answer which was heartbreaking and disappointing "Q4 was the ans frm Sony ie; by the year end!!! "

1) there is a relocking bootloader. Tft file which relocks your bootloader only { DRM KEYS WONT RETURN}which will help you to bypass Sonys altered software error while updating it through SEUS or PC Companion n you can update your device without any problem to latest firmware....
2) No performance change is noticed rather the performance wil increase if you using custom roms...
3)it works only for Xperia 2011 device

Hi for now, there are no known ways of rooting the locked Sola bootloader.
There are successful methods for this on ICS but not gingerbread, for now. I have tried so many.
Thanks for replies. Thread moved to the Q & A.
so we w8 ICS or FXP its like a race! xD
I got tired of waiting and crazy rumours so I did it, unlocked myself. I wanted root that much. Plus, I read B4anry explain in a comment exactly how Sony treats locked/unlocked bootloader, depending on what you've done, and I think I'm safe. He knows his stuff obviously!
Hi all guys...I have a Sola with experience2 (Divaksh rom based on ics .54) and I have a locked bootloader...my phone is still in warranty, but now I would flash a custom rom such as cyanogenmod 10 or some other cr based on JB...but I don't know from where to start...My first question is: It exist only the sony official way to unlock the bootloader? After unlocked it, I can relock it and use the warranty?and at last...is cyanogenmod 10 laggy on xperia sola???

Dude, you can't. I'm not trying to be rude but face it, there's no way to unlock the bootloader if your phone isn't allowed to.
