Okay so I am using the latest version of the AOSP+ rom and been doing smooth so far until about 2 days ago I kept getting no connection errors on my play store. I have checked all round the net but the latest one would be version. 20130301.
And yes I have deleted cache from the settings, reinstalled the gapps, checked date and time settings.
Help would be very much appreciated, I wouldnt want to find another rom , kinda like aosp+ so far.
Cheers.
Gapps shouldn't have to do with that. Capps are just Google apps.

Do you mean doing a factory wipe and reinstalling the rom?

Yes do a factory reset
You have to flash gapps in recovery. You can find them here: http://goo-inside.me/gapps
I don't know which version you need. I've been running MIUI for the past six months, so I haven't had to bother.
I suggest doing your flashing manually through recovery from now on. You have much more control over what you're doing, and the knowledge alone will save you from trouble in the future. If you don't know how, there are plenty of guides that will explain it... just search.

You can also flash GAPPS from the ROM Manager app...

Only for a Google device will you see people actually asking for the new bootloader.
Thanks for your work OP.
Thanks a lot, giving this a go right now.
Loaded this without any problems. I've got 4.1.2 and build jz054k. I did have one issue of my own doing. The first time I loaded it I did not wipe data and on reboot I was stuck on the "android" screen. After about 10 minutes I did a complete wipe and then loaded it again and it booted right up.
Not sure if this was an improvement in the build but gps locked on immediately as soon as I loaded up google maps. I don't remember it being that fast before. I mean, it was fast before but it might have taken 5 seconds or so to get a lock. And landscape mode is pretty cool.
Thanks for this.
Hmm Pure Vanilla AOSP has Chrome instead of AOSP Browser now?
mmmmmmm,give you a hug.
Thanks, I needed that.
Downloading for an hour now.....is it really that slow or is it on my end?

Thanks
Google Now crashing for me too.
Edit: fixed by removing velvet.apk from /system/app/ and then reinstalling Google Search from the Play Store.

Maybe i am confused, but why did you put this rom in the original section?
So, I ran into a problem. And now I can't get my Nexus 7 to load past the black and whit Google screen when you first power it on.
I was running the stock out of the box 4.1.1 JB that was rooted. I updated my ROM Manager and did a backup, then rebooted, and wiped the Davlik Cache and flashed. After about 30 seconds into the flash ROM Manager received and error and wanted to know if i wanted to reboot. So I did and now i'm stuck. Any suggestions or how i can get it into the correct recovery?
I can get to fast boot, (power and down volume) but when I choose Boot recovery or any option other than power off I just get back to the White Google on black background.
Fixing the Google Now crashing problem too and will have updated ROM with the latest binaries up in a couple of hours.
Updated ROM has been posted.
GApps are no longer included and can be downloaded from first post.

Flash the Google images and start over or find the recovery file and use fastboot to load it up.

Wipe cache and dalvik and fix permissions then restart. See if that helps.

I am not allowed to post in ARHD yet.
I am S-off
First time when I installed from stock rom, I did a full wipe, I had everything backed up so i formated everything.
Later when i got this prob, I reinstalled by doing dalvik and cache wipe.

I took complete backup and switched to stock rom. Will restore the backup and do the fix permission, I missed to do it last time. Will do this later in evening and let you know if it fixed the problem.

I had this issue as well. Are you using Faux kernel? That might be causing that or try to factory rest, wipe clean partitions delvik ...everything including internal SD. To be safe wipe twice. Also use ARHD super wipe. Then flash through recovery. Keep using the default kernel that comes with the ROM. Hope this helps.
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using Tapatalk 2
Well I am not using faux kernel.
I think flashing latest gapps can help, but have no time to check. I am on travel this whole week. Should be able to check on weekend.

...or by wiping before installing, since you OBVIOUSLY said you didn't wipe.
The play google is giving problem, it is closing alone, especially when I click search. I cleared the cache and nothing, do not know what else to do. I'm using the stable version CM10.2 and GAPPS 4.3.0.
And it happens after a while, it always works normal at first, but after a while it starts to close. I installed this rom yesterday. A few days ago I was with this rom and the same thing happened, and I ended up going back to stock. And yesterday I decided to use the CM again and the problem persists.
thank you

But what? I'm new in these things. I'm using the gapps-jb-20130813-signed
Where do I find to download? I can't find. Thanks
Did u try dirty flashing again rom and gapps? I solved this same issue by cleaning cache and dalvik and reflashing rom again.

Now it seems solved. I put the Cyanogenmod 11 and boeffla kernel. I'm 2 days and everything is normal, until the camera no longer crashes.
Thank you all for your help.
I have installed CandyKat rom and it's working beautifully. But I, for the life of me, can not get any version of GApps to flash. Every time I try it gives me the (bad) error. I did manage to get a really old version to work that I no longer have but the problem is all of the google stuff would just constantly crash and wouldn't update. Any ideas on what I can do? Or what version is needed? Because no matter the version, re-flashing the rom, clearing cache/reset/dalvik cache doesn't even help. I can install the google play.apk but the problem with that is Google Play Store tries to open and force closes immediately. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Have you tried going to another KK thread and trying their gapps file?
The one I use is the mini file I think. Try the links through Beanstalk thread. Patch is solid.

What recovery are you using? It's most likely an issue on your end as no other folks are having this issue with all the gapp packages out there. Try with a fresh Rom flash and gapps immediately following.
