What is the difference between the models? I have SGH-T859. Then there is the P7500 which seems to be where most of the roms are aiming towards. And it seems that the P7510(?) Is strictly wifi. I took a quick glance at a rom thread for the P7500 and a question was whether or not it would work on the t859. The response was no. I am currently stock 3.2 with root. Are any of the available roms other than cm (took a look at their site and my device is supported) suited to work with the T-Mobile version?

which one should i buy S3 i9300 or S3 i9305
depends purely on what you need - development or RAM

Yes, which one very much depends on you though bear in mind that development of both models is a little patchy, due to Samsung not releasing all the required sources / documentation, but development for I9300 is better due to the more widespread availability of the handset.
its always better to go for a development device rather than having plenty of ram unused
It also depends if ur going to use 4g or 3g

During Google I/O, Google announced a Nexus-flavored I9305 that would run a pure unmodified version of JB 4.2.2 and come with an unlocked bootloader.
If all else about these I9305 are the same, would it be possible to just run this new Google-published 4.2.2 ROM on existing I9305? I've been trying to "un-Samsung" my I9305 since day one (big reason why I'm using CM-based custom ROMs now). Presumably this would make life easier for devs working on 4.2.2 custom ROMs?
I thought the announced was galaxy S4, the 9505 ?

For you, which is better to buy, Samsung Galaxy S III I9300 INT'L or Samsung Galaxy S III I9305 LTE version?
I9300 - FM radio/1GB RAM/ICS
I9305 - No FM radio/LTE/2GB RAM/JB
thanks!
If you can, go for the i9305
Supports 4G, 2GB of RAM and... thats the only difference.
Android versions are the same 4.1.2 jellybean and soon they'll recieve 4.2.2

thanks for the response, planning to buy s3, but really confused on what to buy. LTE i9305 or i9300. i9300 int'l have lots of developers/threads of roms and kernels. but i think, LTE version is better because it has 2GB RAM

Only if you want to brick your phone and have no warranty.
Updates go and ask Samsung .
This is not I9305 Q&A
Basics read first.

Warranty is not transferable but you can pay for a repair .
I know that i have no more warranty. But I asked about parts, are they the same in every phone? If they are, thats great.

Hey guys. I'm using a phone called the SHV-E110S that is the Korean version of the Samsung galaxy s2 lte. The phones custom rom developments are really slow and buggy so I've been wondering if roms could be ported from other phones such as the s2 Hercules and the s2 skyrocket. I've been told that it is possible. When I flash the skyrocket rom over my phone, my lit up buttons and sound won't work. Does that mean that there is a problem with the kernel? If so, how can I port or compile to make the rom work on my phone? If anyone is free to help, just lemme know asap because I'm a newbie in this kinda thing and it'd be real nice with a proper custom rom. Thanks in advance
