got a HTC ONE M7 from germany, branded Vodafone,
tryet to get the 4.2.2 on it, i f... it up, got some help and it kind of Works, but no car app tv app. and no OTA update button
it is now on 4.2.2.
now bootloder is unlocked, have root access, and S-OFF.

HBOOT 1.44.0000
Radio 4a.14.3250.13
can i use a RUU file ? and what one ?
have been locking for a week for the original from Vodafone germany, but with no luck.
If I can get the RUU file is it easy to use, mean just plug in win 8 and run ore is win 7 better.
need so Expert help, Danish forums are a bit slow and i want the best advice from here.

Hi. I want to unroot my HOX+ and wait for a stable build for rooting but i cant find the RUU anywhere i tried 'unlockr' but i need the RUU and it was in file factory and file factory has this thing where above 500 mb and it wont allow you to download the file the ruu in searching for if anyone may be so kind to give me a direct link for the International HOX+ Asia WWE. the fact is, 100% of ppl creating threads and asking if update is there (those smarter than average rock just hit "check for update" in settings) wont read this, wont read anything else and will ask everywhere, but not where they should
also czech republic updated, with fixed update with 2 carriers, third one, TMO needs time to fick up update with bloatware that noone wants

Can't be bothered on the phone app. Will edit op when I get a few answers. Others can update their post too if any update.
If people are interested they'll read, if not columns don't matter.

Just curious if anybody has converted their AT&T Stock HTC One to an International One. Unfortunately I cannot root my phone since I use it for work and due to security settings mobileiron will block my emails if it detects root.
So my end goal is to convert my AT&T HTC one to an International One so I can get the latest updates via OTA without having to wait for AT&T.

Well lets say i s-offed my At&t htc one.. Then i can convert cid and mid to international htc one, but how to do that?
Ok suppose somehow i convert it to international cid and mid, but again the latest RUU is only 4.1.2 available... But i can recieve 4.2.2 OTA that is rolling for international htc one right? But again everyone is saying that s-off is not available for 4.2.2 ... So now what?

All I know is you have to change the cid not the mid and after that I don't know because I have no desire to do that. The cid for an unlocked one is HTC__001

So I have tried this but currently stuck....
I got S-OFF and I was able to change the CID to HTC_Y13 (which currently has 4.2.2 pushing).
So I tried to install the RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13.3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed however it said that it is not compatible.
After that, I went down the path and changed the CID to 11111111 and I was able to flash that RUU
Hooked up to WIFI and there was the 1.29.401.12 update pending. However this is where I am stuck....it will download the update however when it goes to apply it it will tell me that my system is modified and that it can't install it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Change your cid back to the one that matches that ruu and see if that works

Any idea how I can find out what CID that RUU uses? That was my next step but I couldn't find it.

Check the location, if it's for the factory unlocked version it's HTC__001, not sure about the others.

After spending 6 hours on this today I was able to finally convert my AT&T Phone to an International HTC__001 and was able to upgrade to 4.2.2 using HTC__Y13 CID. I will write something up when I have some time, but this is a WIP.

The only issue that I have noticed so far is that I am unable to get LTE. Curious if I can flash an AT&T radio from the 4.1.2 release or maybe just wait for the official AT&T update and then flash that radio. I am still getting about 14Mbps/5Mbps so speed is not currently an issue but would like to have LTE.

That's odd but yeah try either that or the latest WWE radio and see if that helps

Turns out the ROM doesn't have the LTE icon, after I followed another persons suggestion on another thread I was able to confirm under phone info that I am running "Network Type: LTE".

Thanks, I will try to write something up but I did so many things that I may not be able to recall every step that I did so I will post a WIP-GUIDE for this so as we have other people (if they wish) to debrand their phone we can get a step by step guide that way.
