THIS THREAD IS ABOUT THE GAMES WHICH DON'T RUN ON CUSTOM ROM AND STUCK SOUND WHILE PLAYING.e.t BEACH BUGGY BLITZ AND REAL RACING BY EA GAMES. SAMMY ROMS BASED ON STOCK AND SOME ROMS LIKE CARBON ROM RUN THEM. I NEED TO SOLVE THIS SITUATION WHY THE STUCK?
I ALSO TRIED SIYAH DORIMANX AN ALL KERNELS TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM BUN NO LUCK

CARBON ROM
1) Don't post all caps. Most people won't even read what you've written if you type like a 3 yr old.
2) Devs aren't going to waste time trying to make their roms work with a couple of games. If you want the games to work, run stock (Dual boot if you need to).
Even Sammy Roms don't run all the games.Best solution is to use chainfire 3d and respective plugin .Don't think its compatible with AOSP anyway.Try.

Let me know if play station pocket works and if the game controls do because that's the most important part of this, Timescape UI and much more bloatware has been removed I may have missed some of the games off the update but if so then remove them before using the update package.

cyanogenmod seems to be the best kernel , at least for samsung phones!!
I have a ATT Samsung GII and currently have it rooted fine. Sadly, every one is changing all the roms to ICS and I am currently forced to use a specific application for billing my miles to work that does not run at all on ICS.
I would try to talk to the developers of that app to see if they could just recompile it for ICS but now that they have the app booming on the iPhone they have pretty much dropped any support for Android.
Right now I am downloading the Android SDK so that I might be able to run this app in the SDK on my laptop.
My questions:
1. Is the Android SDK the only way I can run an Android emulator to run this app?
2. Is there a good place on XDA (or some where else) where I could list out the features I need in a specific application and other people could suggest apps that match the requirements? There are many pay for apps that sound like they would work for me but 15 minutes is not long enough to test the apps out before I cannot get a refund.
Hi...
I am a newbie around here. I want to try some clockwork recovery with my old huawei C8500. I already installed the rom manager v4.4.0.7. But it says I have to install clockwork recovery first. So when I click yes, then it ask for my phone model. But, I can't find my phone. Its have like huawei U series and some other phone models. But not my C8500. Can you tell me how to download it and explain what CWM and how it works and a lil detail for some walkthroughs for how to use CWM? Really thanks for any good answers. Thx

Try Resurrection remix 2.6.1. Based on ICS and stable as a rock. I'm pretty new myself and been using it for a while.Easy to install and no issues whatsoever. :good:
First of all, are you sure you have an i9100 and not an i9100G, a skyrocket (AT&T or Rogers), a Galaxy S2 LTE HD, etc?
If you do have an i9100, this is the forum for you. If not, try and find your right forum...
I'd look in the SGS2 android dev forums and not the Original Android Dev forums. Alot of cooks have ROMs with SGS3-like themes... And there's possibly a touchwiz5 mod in the themes section. I know the ripple lockscreen was ported too...
To be honest, alot of ROMs exist but it's a question of taste... I know Resurrection remix is a popular one. Alot of people switched to Cyanogenmod when ICS hit though, as ICS wasn't up to par for Samsung's implementation...
Your best bet is to flash a custom kernel with CWM recovery in Odin (Alot of guides to do this) like CF-Root and then grab ROMs and flash them through CWM. If you want a kernel that's able to dual boot, you can use DreamKernel, Siyah, etc. That way you can get one ROM going and test a second ROM as a secondary. Dual booting can be achieved because we have a 500MB partition on our phones that isn't used for anything... Fun, is it not?
And The other rom is pfittech ics rom and is also stable and he is working on stable jb rom as among other devs

I'd go with rootbox. Just because the dev updates more frequently does not mean it's a better rom. The ones who don't update frequently just mean they don't have bugs to fix...

Hello!
I've recently installed the fxp cm9 ICS firmware port and kernel on my X10. Now, it turns out several games have a bit of a problem with touchscreen commands. For example, after having installed the mobile Rayman game, the buttons on the main menu seem to respond to my touch at first, but don't actually do anything.
Having looked around for this problem, I ultimately found this quote:
"that problem is with your Kernel. There's a problem with the ICS Kernel 4.1.B.0.431 using touch games. You have to upgrade to a Kernel based on 4.1.B.0.587 or a CyanogenMod Kernel."
I'm not that knowledged in the field of android development, but I'm under the impression that the kernel I installed along with the CM9 x10 port is obviously a CM kernel. All kernels currently available on the X10 dev forums here seem to be based on the fxp cm9 kernel port as well. Thus, my question is: has anyone else encountered this problem, is the problem really relevant to the kernel as stated in that quote, and is there anything specific I need to know or do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance for your help!

It it's the same problem I have, here's an example: you get into angry birds, select your level, fire about once or twice with slingshot and then no response from the screen. Back, menu and home buttons work but not the screen.
Yeah, I hadn't tried angry birds yet after having installed the new firmware, but I just gave one of the games a testrun and I can't even get in-game, main menu is completely unresponsive.
But no, there's no freezing or anything, I can just leave the game with my hard buttons, it's only the touchscreen in-game that's being unresponsive.
Not all games either since there's plenty of stuff that still works though.

I'm not sure but I thought the other kernels for ICS for X10 were all based on the FXP CM9 port... Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
Hey, a very noob question, but does flashing just another kernel, and not flashing a whole new firmware, also result in all your data being lost? If not, I could just try a few different kernels out without having to take a new backup.

Nope. But for just in case, do a full backup using cwm recovery. A backup is a must when you do such thing.. As long as you read ics kernel for your x10 not other device maybe everything will be okay. Get what i mean? (Bad english )

I have this rom.. works great
But, I can't find the CyanogenMod Settings
The CM settings are removed since CM9. You can find them in the whole settings application
"the whole settings application" ? Can you be a little more accurate?
I can't find them in settings.. I can only find some appearance settings from cm, and the device settings

i heard that psyke83 wont update CM9 and CM10 . he will continue with CM10.1 . i have use it . its better and very suitable
for everyday usage
i installed CM10.1 but it too lag, why?how you can do it smoothly?
There is no way you can run cm10 smoothly on our device. Just stick to the cm7. Its the best thing developers made for G5. If you use more apps i reccomend you Esrom5 Bluedroid. It s gingerbread with jelly bean look. Works pretty smooth for me. No lag at all.
Poslato sa tapatalka using Pangalaktički Grgolj Blaster
I have CM10 and CM10.1 running perfectly as fast as CM7, thanks to a paid app on Play Store called Project Butter. I added also a bunch of init.d script for performance. My Galaxy 5 never become laggy using this sort of tricks, believe me, and i have also 92 apps installed, and some heavy and RAM hungry... i use also Greenify
