it worked. but i didnt see any improvement... or maybe i cannot notice it?
maybe you must have a super eye to notice the difference!
Tried it... worked but also i not noiced for any improvement... i've compared the fotos after give the cibershot and before in a Hd monitor and the photos are the same

If you read changelog it's only written small improved image quality. So it's maybe just that the mod don't change a lot the quality. We should wait for an update.

Version is 3.9.17, this is a minor bugfix update, but its still not rolling out officically.

Anything else that the new JB camera brings to the table?
I believe that the official announcement mentioned something about better colors and sharpness. Autofocus definitely seems to work better in JB for me, it was a disaster in ICS.
I think that photo quality remains the same in jellybean. . I don't notice better colors or details.

Yeah but the interface is a bit ugly, and cluttering the app drawer with it's two shortcut.

Quite senseless updates I guess if there are only updated some apps.
One improvement I have notice is that they fixed the auto focus in low light condition..
