AOSP on geeb_att_usQuick and dirty release thread. I'll make it pretty when I have time.
This is a pure AOSP build. Device repo was ported directly from the AOSP repo, with a few hacks to get everything supported.
Device repo is here for anyone interested. Currently it is still pretty hacky.
Special thanks to Chadouming for fixing up the kernel for our use!

The only issue I've found is that my phone can't see any GPS satellites, but I highly doubt that is at all rom-specific.

At first glance I thought this was another 4.2 rom, but I had to double take there to catch that this was in fact 4.3! Way to go, dude! Can we get some screenies and perhaps someone can tell us what to expect from 4.3 on the LG. Thanks for putting this together for us!!

Posting this from Chrome! Chrome seems to be stable. Haven't noticed a huge performance increase coming from 4.2 but I do greatly appreciate the effort being put into this phone. Turning off NFC and restarting immediately after seems to have fixed NFC for me. Thank you!

If you have been annoyed by problems connecting to 801.11n networks (5 GHz) on ported JB Roms, the fix is easy:
Go to system/etc/wifi
Open nvram_net.txt
edit the line that reads: ccode=GB (or another country code) to ccode=US
add right below that: regrev=5
Save the file, make sure permissions are 644 (rw-r-r), reboot, and you're good to go!
I guess because ROMs are coming from i9100, the devs there are building for their country of residence.
It's not just ported ROMs. AOKP had the same line in the file you pointed out. Changed it, in case I forget when I get home, but not connected to any N routers right now. Anyone else tried this and noticed any differences?

You are going to need to be a little more forthcoming with information. This is just not enough to go on.
You ported a ROM from a Galaxy Y to a Galaxy Y Duos and network connection doesn't work? Right? Now, by network connection, let's make sure we are on the same page. You mean you can make and receive calls, right? Can you use your data connection? Wifi is not working though, right?
What rom is this? Is it CM?
What kernel? Have others also reported the same problem? Have you tried porting a more recent version?
Sometimes data goes out because of an error in compiling. This happened with Carbon rom several times and I think the problem was that they weren't clean compiling (to save time). In situations like that, the best thing to do is just revert to the last working ROM....
I ported sense 4.0 everything working fine but i cant make calls

I have an i777 and am trying to find a solution to wireless N 5ghz not working on CM 10.1.3 as well as AoCP 6.4. I've tried both base (no kernel update) as well as with AJK's latest... no dice.
Did what you stated above, absolutely no change (on CM 10.1.3). Any further thoughts? I've posted for help in CM's forums, but more seem to visit here.

I am attaching the file you need. It's basically the same thing I describe in the OP. It should work. If it doesn't then I don't know what to tell you. It was working on Carbon nightlies (which are CM based) until very recently (I went back to the stable build). It is absolutely vital that you change permissions and reboot. If you're still having problems, make sure your permission changes are sticking.
So, put this file in etc/wifi/, replacing the file of the same name.

This is a port from the CM build of 4.4 however everything to do with CM has been removed. Swapped DSP for Awesome Beats, swapped CM file manager for for Root Browser, swapped out camera for moto x camera, swapped out browser for dolphin. Removed cm settings and replaced with vanilla nexus settings.apk, added in Sony x4 video player, Nexmusic and 4.4 gapps included in ROM and a nice Beats Audio Blizzard boot animation.

Great mods in the rom. Do we need to flash through cwm and install superuser like other 4.4 roms?

Just installed and so far so good. Only two things ive noticed so far. I get an error each time I reboot about the Qualcomm time stopping. And if you try to swipe with the keyboard it will just disappear. But apart from that very slick and smooth. I'm loving the Moto X camera

I'm a big fan of the moto x cam. Best thing to come out of Motorola I had the Qualcomm error once but not since. I think its the timeservice.apk I took from another device. Just need to put the t0lte one back in that's just a guess though. Have u tried any other 4.4 ROMs with swipe? Just curious if they have the same issues. I appreciate the feedback so quickly. It is pretty vanilla at the moment but you gotta start somewhere

I have the same qualcom error. Comes Evert 5 min or so. Else it seems responsive and nice!
Edit. Aosp keybored crash on swipe as reported before.

Sorry about that that's quite a lot. I'll swap out the timeservice.apk and see if I get the same error. I had it once on bootup but never again so I didn't think it was a big issue.
Again apologies.

Hey no worries. At all. Always love trying out new Roms. Vanilla is good. Nothing wrong with that at all. And with xposed working again things are looking good. No stress about the error. It's not a biggie at all. As for the keyboard Ive only had that issue once on an early build of 4.4 but I don't use stock long enough to really worry ?? great work though brother. Very nice.

Any issues with proximity sensor not working at all ? In all other 4.4 roms I have tried this has not worked at all, meaning I have had to turn the screen off during calls to stop unintended button presses.

I'll have to put a link up for superuser. Flash that (you can grab it from any n7105 4.4 rom) so u get root permission and delete timeservices.apk and problem solved that'll save another 300mb download for you.
Downloaded rom - installed by TWRP v2.6.3.7 coming from lion rom 4.3 - no phone service and says baseband unknown. any ideas please - as this has been repeated no matter how many times I installed the rom. I feel it is sleek.

LTE is not working with this ROM. Followed directions as stated in the OP. Anybody else having this problem? Other than the lack of LTE, this ROM is much smoother than the others. I love it.

LTE is working fine for me
Yeah LTE is acting weird for me as well. It will switch to it when I change the network mode and then switch back to Hespa as soon as I close out of the menu.
---------- Post added at 12:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:36 AM ----------
Ok try this.. Change to the last option under mobile networks. The one with LTE auto in it. Then instead of hitting back hit the home softkey and see if it sticks. It did on mine.
---------- Post added at 12:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:40 AM ----------
Still doesn't stick through a reboot though.

has been tested in a 977 Brazil?
I still get email FC when trying to set up my exchange account.
I play mc5 on this ROM and it isn't that bad maybe you should download a CPU manager to check the clock speed I find that sometimes it under clocks to 1.1 GHz
