Hi, i am having celkon a97i. which i already rooted using srs installer.
but the problem is now that i can't install the rom manager... cwm
tired of trying everythng...and now getting what to do what i did... just not getting what to do for the next step so that the cwm can get installed.
when i am not getting anythng at last doing this post in a hope that xda experts will help me as they do's everytime to everyone.
please help me with an easy and fast method to install this cwm.
waiting for an xda angel to help me out.
check my thread for the fastboot post. find a custom cwm recovery image. then use terminal to boot into fastboot and flash it.

You will need to upgrade to 2.3 and unlock your bootloader.
There are plenty of threads in this DEV section that will tell you how to do it.
Have a read first then if you still need to ask for help do so in the Q&A forum

Nothing to do with Development, try using the sticky's, you will find all the info there, if you need further help use the Q&A forum as you have already been told.
please i dont want roms with cwm recovery i want cwm recovery just only i want to install cwm recovery because i cant install miui 1.10.14 oodie hotfix v2 on xrecovery
You can install rom manager, pick hddesire recovery, if using dooms boot manager boot cwm5 once then rom manager will fully work and when cyan.mod is official you put there address in the rom depositary and you can update over the air. And look after your backups.
Please leave this alone now. You have been given the correct advice. You need to read the thread I linked for you.
That is not a ROM, it is a bootmanger that allows you to boot cmw.
I cant do it for you, you have to press the buttons yourself, so my advice is to read that thread and ask for advice in the Q&A thread, you will just suceed in annoying people here and you wont get the help you need if you clutter a dev thread..

dude, u need to flash SE firmware 2.3 first before u can flash oodie MIUI. U need to root and unlock bootloader. Why the hell u still with 2.1?
Look buddy if you continue with this in Development you will be issued with a infraction-you have been warned!

no i not still with 2.1 i before i used miui 1.9.30 and i will upgrade to 1.10.14 xrecovery not working with 1.9.30 because i used 2.1 to use xrecovery but now thx to all i have the cwm now thx to allll
Hi all, ok ive rooted my GS3 and its running 4.1.2 , but my question is that im not sure its going into proper recovery mode as when i put it into recovery it doesnt look like the usual recovery screen !! ie im trying to install the Audio hack zip and flash it but it keeps failing everytime i try, can somebody please help me, also is it because it needs a diferent rom like Omega or something, hope to get some help soon, from

You need to install Custom Recovery first... (CWM or any other)
Rooting only doesn't include CWM...
Use Odin to flash it.

Just go to original development and you will find a choice of 2 or 3, you can flash them in Odin/cwm/mobile Odin depending on their format so read instructions

Do you have a custom recovery? If yes then you could try to use it to do the trick (at least with TWRP)
have issues with recovery
flashed cwm but not able to get recovery menu...

superuser was installed in it but there is no root acces
i installed lucky patcher which was installed but it didnt work.
And i installed ramexpander but no root accces
What can i do for the problem ? Maybe the issue was created in wrong chapter

Did you download the right version for the S5830i? It can make a difference, try also another recovery instead and try to install the root again. :fingers-crossed: good luck!

We can use CWM without root it doesnt require any root access.

download update.zip for s5830i and intall it from android stock recovery - apply update from sdcard - update.zip hope this works..:good:

i tried all update.zip for the phone but it doesnt support but custom rom has root acces jellyblast v3.0.3
