Hi I'm running jellybean 4.2.2 and can't find an email as it didn't come with one, can someone tell me where I might find it thanks

You mean the stock Samsung Email app (see attached screenshot)?
You won't find it in AOSP ROMs (unless the dev finds a way to add it). You can only find it in stock based ROMs.

Yeh that's the one, I'm using illusion ROM so can I use stock email for it??
What email do you want. Can you not install one from playstore? Gmail ect ect?

I don't think the stock email from Samsung would work on AOSP based ROMs, unless someone has successfully ported it for your device. Isn't there a stock AOSP Email client as a replacement in that ROM?
Personally, I don't use the stock app. I use separate apps for Gmail and Hotmail.
This is from aokp build 6 xperia z Rom. I cant post akp of it. Don't no why but I cant.

What's its base? Aokp? Have you asked on that thread? Maybe a problem with the build maybe?
Its XXMS2 base and I've asked but no reply and think its aokp.

Oh right haha duh. thanks. I thought there might had been some secret hidden area i missed with all these stock rooted roms
can someone make a flashable zip that porting all the ics aosp apps (like the phone, contacs, mms, gallery, calendar, browser etc.) to the lp2 leaked firmware. i think a lot of people want it.

have a look in the android development section. there are roms already based on the latest ics leaks and quite few of them have ported over a few of the apps that you are asking for.
i know but non of them porting the phone or the lockscreen etc ... . in addition i think it will be a lot more comfortable if it will be in a flashable zip that can flash on any rom.

On one of the last pages on the thread me and another dude pusted links to 10.1 lite, both regular and experimental version. Either you guys are out for the full one or otherwise you're blind.

Well, I know, there are links for lite version of regular and experimental, but what I'm searching is the full version of 10.1 both regular and experimental
And, do you know "exactly" what's the different between regular and experimental? I just didn't get it, I just new to this thing

I have s duos still it is not rooted and it is out of warranty so I was thinking to root and get 4.4 or 4.3.I have not done any customization on it. As 4.0.4 now about get outdate and offical update of 4.1 is not released I am bored of its ui is also boring so if you give any good ui that would be bonus. Please give the direct download links of rom, rooting app, bootloader, ui and what is necessary. I am at the starter level so try to explain detail as i know very less of all these and if possible do it as early as possible because I already wasted my 2-3 days in search about the rom I could not find any proper site. I would be grateteful to u if u will do just that work for me.

I undterstood to root and installing cwm recovery. But i am confused about how to get 4.4 and the ui can u explain it here rather than giving another link. Please say me what is difference in this rom and which will give me nice ui and latest android.

If you only need ui you can always install a "launcher" from Google Play.
If you want also to have the latest android and its functions then you will need a ROM.
The only rom found about your phone is HyperX
If you have rooted and installed cwm recovery then you will install the ROM.
Each rom has individual instructions.You can take a look at HyperX thread to see the procedure of how to install the rom.
I can't give you instructions through a post I'm sorry .Check out the HyperX Thread

Search more for roms...I can't find anything else than the one I sent you :/.If you don't find then you will need to install CM if it is available for your phone or else you gotta leave it

Seems to me all you'd have to do is download a CM10 rom yourself and extract the systemUI.apk. Have you tried that?

I would if I had a really fast internet connection, the reason am asking is because these files in it self are smaller in size than downloading the whole rom.

Thanks for the reply, and for the file, I get a parsing error as the file is based off JB 4.3 I believe since am on JB 4.1.2 hence the reason am I need the on for cm 10 which is based off 4.1.2 right.

Didn't work, had an unplanned visit into town today and got to download CM11 (linaro) and its working great
